I heard this song on the radio for the first time this morning. I Shazamed it and have now listened to this song well over 10 times today. Good fucking good!

This is her absolute pinnacle. She sounds like someone you could see playing at Austin City Limits. I really hope she gets back more to this raw acoustic sound in the next album. The latest feels to young and hipster/poppy.
I know ACL is hitting such a low point, they will let any body with half a following play. That hipster/poppy crap is what sells and she's a sell out. However, I'm not a good judge for this woman, cause I don't like her music anyway.

@@Hero_Of_Old wow, I don't know how you can think this. this video is deeply mature and musical and haunting. the lyrics are thoughtful and moving. it feels emotional. The second album has none of that. there's no musicality. there's no maturity. empty calories.

SUCH a good song, particularly acoustic. Belting out this track helped me to get through my divorce after stepping back to realize that torturing each other was no way to live. Sending love to anyone going through this... in hopes that you "see the light."
