These singers and players had no idea that over 100 years later I would be listening to them on my Ipad... Thanks and Merry Christmas to them.
I was reading the comments. And loved everyone.Merry Christmas everyone. From Christmas passed.
Voices so long silent being enjoyed a century later. I wish they knew.
The recordings are really old, but you can tell they are exquisite. What voices.

Grandma was born on 09/23/1899. She would love hearing this! Grandma, I'm sharing this with you. I love you!
There is a story in my family that, as their first Christmas as newlyweds (1907), my Grandfather surprised his bride with a gramophone. After finding these wonderful recordings, in my mind's eye I can almost picture that young couple celebrating Christmas while listening to music just like this. I only wish someone in the family would have kept that gramophone!
these songs always give me the chills. the oldest christmas songs have the best vibes. a hundred times better than these pop songs today
Listening to it in December 2020.
Beautiful! No wonder my Grandma loved Christmas so much. She'd be 127 yrs. If she had lived!
I´m crying. Why must time go by so quickly and why must everyone die? I lost so many loved ones already. Sleep well, Pete, and all the rest of you, and the people who sang these wonderful songs. I hear you and I think of you.
It’s May and I’m listening to this beautiful vintage treasures.
Grandparents were youngsters. Imagine Christmas during those time. They are long gone but can imagine their excitement listening to these songs.
I live in a old public housing apartment built in 1900. I wonder all the time who lived here & where they listening to this here at Xmas time.
How I'd love to be in that living room, winding up the gramophone, then listening to these recordings when they were new! I felt quite cozy listening to this video, remembering my early childhood Christmases (early 1960's) in an old house.
Merry Christmas Everyone :)
Happy I happened to come across these wonderful songs! My mother is 99, and when I play these for her tomorrow, it will be a huge surprise. I know she will love hearing these songs. She always talks about their old cylinder record machine and the songs they had. What a treat this will be!
Love these. I am so tired of the same Christmas songs played over and over on radio today.
Anyone here in 2020? Stay safe out there. Chrismas is very soon~♡
So nice to see young and old enjoying this site god bless everyone here! Peace to all.
