Who is Dr. Bradley

I'm from Brooklyn, New York originally,, born and raised, I went to, Philadelphia for undergrad.
I majored in African American studies and then I went on to Detroit, Michigan Wayne State University,, for medical school.
I completed general surgery residency and then went on to do a hand surgery fellowship and a plastic surgery fellowship.
And,, I went into private practice for about 4.5 years before I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
And then my family and I, we had to go through a process of reinvention because I could no longer work and practice at full capacity.
But through all of those experiences, I have gained such,, a redirection of my life,, focusing in on my true purpose I've become a published author.
I lecture across the country.
I'm very fortunate to be able to mentor and advise undergraduate students, high school students, elementary school students, as well as physicians in training and in practice.
So you're gonna see on my platform, a hodgepodge of things.
I am very sarcastic.
I love fashion.
I love to eat, but most importantly, I love, love, love to educate, elevate empower and be of service to the community.
And that takes form in a multitude of different ways.
So there'll be some education, there'll be some funny memes.
I'll also take you on journeys in my daily life and reflect on lessons that I've learned and hopefully, they will help you along your journey.
Most importantly, I want you all to feel very encouraged to provide feedback.
I also do like breaking news posts and I've had to do some retractions on my own because there was misinformation that I wasn't informed about.
I'm a plastic surgeon, board certified.
And by training, but I talk about a variety of different things that impact us from a health perspective, political aspect, financially, there's a whole lot of things that go into our care and well-being and I really want to be able to share that information with you all.

Chicks with MDs is a professional think tank that focuses on the continued care, education and empowerment of patients AND physicians. It is my sincere belief that physician and overall healthcare provider education is the key to achieving this goal in the care of patients. This is why I focus nearly half of my professional time and attention on re-educating and updating physicians on topics that directly impact their practices, healthcare organizations, institutions, and individual entities have entrusted me and my expertise to equip physicians and healthcare providers nationwide to show up authentically - for themselves and their patients.
