  • If you have a 3D printer, you can build blasters that crush Nerf guns to dust.
    Buy my awesome Nerf tactical gear! Visit etsy.com/shop/... and use code 'ZACKISASELLOUT' for $5 off!
    That wimpy revolver hits twice as hard as the best brand-name blaster toy, and that's just the start. You'll discover laser-sharp Nerf sniper rifles, advanced bullpup blasters, a dart-spraying mini-Uzi, and more. An entire arsenal of blasters, sidearms, mags, knives, attachments, bananas, and tactical gear is just a few STL's away.
    So get in my snarky "self-driving" car and let's head to the greatest Nerf arsenal in Queens to see some insanely advanced Nerf blasters.

I'm happy that 3d printing has been able to make the homemade scene so much better. It used to be air blasters like the airtech 3000 or buzz bee big blast and specific springers like the longshot if you wanted to have a decent chance. I'm watching this video because even though I don't do serious nerfing I think Nerf guns are cool and I think making anything on 3D printers is cool, and I am binging all of Zack's videos because they're freaking hilarious.

Hasbro, and particularly the Nerf brand, had a record year in sales in 2020 and 2021 is looking to be even better. 3d printers haven't impacted the blaster market. Even Mattel launching a competitive line of BoomCo blasters a few years ago couldn't put a dent in Nerf sales.

    @retroa-go-go6888 Před měsícem

    I'm both! I am a Nerfer, who has a massive collection, then got into 3D printing with my first Creality CR-10s as it was cheaper and faster to print a flywheel cage in the exact crush geometry, color, and for the specified blaster model, rather than pay more (as well as the shipping) and order one and wait for it to arrive.
    A 2-3 day wait (as well as sometimes a lead-time) is much longer and more expensive than printing multiple cages with multiple crush diameters for testing/prototyping purposes, in a couple of hours on my Creality Ender 3 V3 KE.
    Simple sights, and accessories, like triggers/rev triggers, switch plates, wiring management clips, magazine releases, motor covers, battery compartments, picatinny rails, optic mounts, magazines, magazine holders, holsters, multi-part body-kits, targets, barrel extensions/SCAR barrels, stocks/battery stocks, etc., are really quick and simple to make, with often free, .stl files.
    Full blasters can be made in a couple of days, even ones with onboard electronic fire control systems with brushless motors, for rate of fire, power output, ammo counters, and the like.
    The options and level of customisation is almost endless now.
    Really, the only things I have to actually pay for are (darts - obviously), motors, LiPo's, quality (high-performance, and well balanced) Delrin flywheels and internal electronics.
    It's a win/win for the consumer, hobbyist and tinkerer.

    I love the creativity involved in producing 3D printed blasters, and my collection would be twice it's size. I understand that there many advantages of being able to 3D print your own cool new blaster. I however still prefer injection molded. Don't have to be overly concerned about leaving in back seat or the trunk of my car. In my mind, 3D printed blasters haven't quite achieved the same level of durability as injection molded blasters naturally enjoy. Mr.Scott54, BionicBlasters.
