So easy to follow Mike, it's half the fun of having a bike if you can do some of the basic maintenance yourself, & with the advent of CZcams so easy to follow. I've watched S&S videos on how to do a stage 3 or 4, & if one had the correct tools it doesn't phase me, you'd save a ton of money too. I keep an eye on how many subs you're getting, & can't believe it's not more, they're interesting vlogs & well made & other channels which are not as interesting are increasing, funny old world ain't it Amigo. To tell you the truth I don’t mind being small with good people subbed to the channel. Started this process over and over again for a total of three times. Watched the video at least a dozen times to see what I missed. I have everything from no tension in the clutch, not quite enough tension and running out of cable. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

Bought my 03 and previous owner through on 12" Meathook handlebars but used stock cables. If you could would you do series of replacing all 3 cables please?
@@timothymeriwether5585 don’t have the Electra glide anymore but I did something similar on my brothers bike. Search motorcycle video for street glide.

2004. Should be the same if I am not mistaken. Maybe check the service manual.
Hi I just watched a video on adjusting your clutch where should my clutch grab that should have grabbed close to the handlebar or to the grab far out for the fiction control thank you very much have a wonderful day
if adjusted correctly should grab about in the middle. really depends on how you adjust the clutch and cable.

Thanks for sharing, so once I have adjusted the clutch inside the primary and I start taken up the slack on the cable, it “seems” like the adjuster nut on cable screws too far and disconnects from the cable, I’m not able to pull the lever in all the way, about 1/2” before the lever hits the handle it won’t let me close “pull” in the lever all the way, it becomes super hard. And the gap on the cable is close to 1/2”, so, if I go the other way with the adjuster but on cable it (lever) becomes way to loose. I’m dumbfounded,,
Any recommendations would be helpful.
I had the same problem, but currently clutch cable tight but wants to take off as soon as I start to let lever out.

I don’t have an solution except HD dealership is coming this Monday to pick it up and replace the cable., I’m so frustrated with the clutch cable, I have lost 2 weeks of not being able to ride. Feel my pain.. 😩 I thought I was the only one who experienced that because I don’t see any videos walking through the cable being hard to adjust. Are you gonna replace the cable or just ride like that?
