Correction: DSP/ACP(comm system) through IPS is equivalent to asst.commandant or lieutenant in army. DSP through state pcs is junior to these all as these are recruited by UPSC
lieutenant is junior to AC.. captain is equivalent to AC

And agar ips aur state police ka koi officer same rank pr hai to usme ips officer senior hota hai. Because woh Central ke through recruit hota hai. Same Ac ko bhi upsc recruit karti hai. Phle ke time r ek Ac ig tak ban jata tha . Abhi ips bante Hai mostly pr government ne kaha hai ki ips ka domination khatm Karenge armed police forces mein and pahle ki tarah hi IG or DIG or DG tak ja payenge Ac bhi.

Aur assistant commandant group a officer. Pay level 10

Everyone is powerful and important at their own position and jurisdiction no one will interfere in anyone's service without a written order from the central government and also one thing DSP comes under state police while IAS and AC comes under ministry of home affairs and armed forces comes under ministry of defence toh bhai kisi ka kisi se bhi koi comparison nhi h@@kumarshanu4022
Dsp is level 8 gazetted post while Ac is level 10 job.
Always remember that No state pcs can recruit officers similar to upsc.
You can compare ac with ips

But the main thing is look at the post from which ac and dsp retires..
Dsp generally retires from SSP but ac can go upto ADG which is huge difference...

Dsp both ips ke under work krte hai kuki ips 27 to 30 years after service DG bnte hai joki state pcs dsp aur AC ke liye possible hi nhi chahye unke pass kitni service ku na ho kuki aapko 29to 32 years to dig bnne me lg jayega ye Max to Max adg bnege bus waise mostly ig ya dig se retire ho jate hai
