    I had an opportunity to test ride a Klima while I waited for my burn e max to get serviced, and I was really impressed by the power. It literally is a smaller version of the burn e 2. Nami is killing the game with these 3 scooters. I wish I had access to the mods they are using in France🔥

What would you recommend as a scooter that has a good range, can ride in the rain, off road once in a while, reliable, comfortable ride, and easy to work on and find parts? I've never owned one, and there aren't really any dealers around me, Ann Arbor, MI, so I can't test drive one, which sucks. I'm 5'10 and 185 pounds. I'm debating between these 3 scooters. 🇺🇲🙏

    I've owned the Nami Burn-E since October 2022 and love it! I've already driven 3500km with it, and I haven't had any problems, not even a puncture. I only changed the brake pads. I weigh 240 lbs naked, so with my fullface motorcycle helmet, my backpack etc. I must weigh close to 270 lbs, and the scooter doesn't give a fuck. It's a tank!!!

    Great Video! I understand that its incredibly hard to make all the differences understandable. Some facts however you got wrong: Controllers are rated in (input from battery) Amps and not AH. Blast non Max has 40A Controllers. Blast max calculated peak power is not 8400W as the burn-e would have but 67Vx2x50A=~6700W. Blast non max and Klima calculated peak power is 67x2x40A=~5400W. The physically bigger 50A Controllers used in Burn-e max and Blast max have quite a bit more phase amps and torque as the rated battery amps suggest (in comparison to the 40A Versions). For Klima the deck width should measure only the part where you can actually stand which is less (20cm) while on Blast the given measurement is almost the width you can stand on (i think thats also true for Burn-e). Blast suspension is a lot firmer by default and design, Klima does not work too well with heavy riders (at least if the springs of suspension are not changed). I feel some of this info is missed out. Blast suspension is much more effective against front obstacles while working similar well against uneven road (which offsets a bit of the much harder suspension setup). Klima and Burn-e will typically lower much more when you step on them compared to blast so the real world ground clearance is less on all models but least the blast.

    • @RIDEGLIDE
      @RIDEGLIDE  Před rokem +1

      Depends how you set your preload but definitely out of the box the Klima is softer. For the deck size it was measured just on where the feet can go but there is a curve down on the edge of the Klima whereas the blast is flatter.
      For the blast peak power we were told it was 8400w, same as Burn e so not sure on that one 😀😀

    I hate the single suspension arms on the klima.
    Reminds me of the old school petrol goped scooters that sometimes used a single suspension arm or fork for the front wheel and it would always bend the axle shaft because it only supported one side for the axle.
    Does it have that issue of bending axles/motor shaft in the case for electric scooters due to support being only one side?

    • @RIDEGLIDE
      @RIDEGLIDE  Před rokem

    great review. I've decided on getting a nami and due to its size/weight have ruled out the burn e. Can't decide between the klima max and blast max. How does the ride on the blast compare to the klima (onroad) ? is one softer than the other?

    • @RIDEGLIDE
      @RIDEGLIDE  Před 3 měsíci

      Thanks! They are all great scooters. The Blast is still quite a large, weighty scooter but not as big as the Burn-e. If you don't weigh over 90kg then the Klima is really quick and really versatile because of its smaller size. However if you are a heavier rider the Blast or Burn-e are definitely better designed for your needs!

      @RIDEGLIDE thanks for the quick response! I'm 83kg , will be using it to commute to work. Part of my commute will be on a biking/jogging path with a perfect surface for just under 5km then another 8km on pothole ridden roads. Does the klima offer enough foot space where you can change your stance or Is that more of the blast? My concern is that I don't want to get a scooter thats just good enough for my current needs but then if my needs change and I need something more capable I'm stuck with the less capable scooter ya know

    What about the stem of the nami burn e2 or the max has there been any issue with the stem? And the mileage approximately like say 2000 to 3000 miles is the braking system good the logan? I'm asking because I have this vsett10+ with zoom brakes I cannot fix the damn scooter lol I did every bleeding brake method and still hasn't worked so more then likely I need to put a new brake line and no its not the brake pad. I wish it had nut brakes or something superior then zoom I have this D6+ scooter I had it for about 2 years and I never ever had to bleed the brakes or even change the brake pads surprisingly.

    • @RIDEGLIDE
      @RIDEGLIDE  Před rokem +1

      Yes can be unlucky with brakes occasionally, zoom are generally ok but there are better quality brakes around.
      The Burn-e's have been extremely reliable, especially when you compare to other brands. We have had some in for servicing with over 15000km on the clock. There have apparently been around 10 stem fails out of approx 8000 units sold from what we know but the new models have been upgraded. It isn't clear whether its rider error or structural failure but Nami are carrying out tests. This is all just info we have heard so as far as we know it correct 👍 Amazing scooters, well worth trying them out for a test ride 😀

      Klima yes if you ride fast (it does not absolutely need it but will feel more secure from 40km/h and up, without the steering feels very sensitive at speed). Blast does not need a steering dampener and will feel stable at any speed (much more self stabilising)
