Tyson gay is my favorite sprinter of all time. I saw a comment on instagram that he said "at training, he felt like his old self." He said he wants to go to 2020. I mean c'mon... "americas fastest man alive" yet no Olympic medal.
Sub 10-Zin It was probably actually harder for him not to get an Olympic medal. I don't know how he has managed that! It would be good to see him get back to his old ways.

Athletic Productionz ikr so unlucky to have picked up an injury at Beijing, otherwise he definitely would have at least beat Thompson for Silver. I was so happy to see the US get silver at Rio, finally an Olympic medal after his silver from 2012 was stripped. But then they got disqualified from that😤😤 so unlucky.

Sorry about the quality of some of the clips. Coverage of T&F events clearly wasn't great 10 years ago (probably was.... but there literally aren't any good quality ones available online). I am looking forward to the indoor and outdoor season this year as I should be able to source some really good quality races for you guys! Hope you enjoy this video!

to be frank god sent tyson gay to the planet earth with great talent and gifted him a word called unlucky because
1) he was actually actually fastest runner in hus time but usain bolt was rising at the same moment
2)he had the opportunity to win gold or silver in beijing olympics but was not fit because of injury
3)he was so fast in 2009 he ran 9.71 but usain bolt set a new world record
4)he was about to set a new 150 wr but due to lot of head wind it was not possible
5)he was not able to run in deigue world championship due to hip injury if he was fit a gold was confirmed
6)in olympics just by 0.01 sec he lost bronze to justin gatlin
7)due to him the whole relay team of 2012 was stripped out of olympic medal due to his doping scandel
8)his age was his main enemy in 2016 and was not able win the race and due to lack of motivation
9)but he has produced 9.69, 9.71, 9.75, 9.76, 9.78 on daily basis but unfortunately these times were not produced in big races suck as olympics and world championships
10)he was not able to win a olympic medal in inspite of his great tremendous speed but new athletes were able to win a big medal in big races
still he the US fastest man and 2nd fastest man in the world i salute him he is one my ideal person

@@tarevagalloway8306 I would agree with the less weight as he is naturally thinner, but other athletes such as Bolt (6'5) and Gatlin (6'1) have proven that in some cases, strength and muscle mass along with height can help

Wow. Just wow. If Gay had the start of Powell in the race he ran 9.69 in, we might just have a different 100 meter world record to this day. Very capable of cracking 9.58 if he had that start.

@@atharvakshirsagar8461Powell didn’t have the top end speed. His form and acceleration were superhuman though. Blake had great top end but he’s a shell of himself after the injury. Americans have historically been great sprinters but that has nothing to do with my statement. I’m talking about a singular case
@@Patawon i don't problem with you i have problem world who is overrating some countries sprinters even if other country's sprinters are runnings better times than that country. Powell has top end speed you may think like that because he looks so smooth. But he has a great top end speed. I mean top end speed is not about making our face hailorious and losing form. Its all of about putting steps faster and pushing the ground

dog I always think The TV makes them look a lot slower! When I've see 10.8 runners in real life it's unreal so a sub 10 runner would be crazy.

It comes down to perspective. The closer the camera is to the athlete, the faster he will appear to move. The athlete himself sees himself moving quite fast. There is a simple explanation for this. Assume a 100 m track, and a camera a few meters up high following the athletes. From the perspective of the camera, the athlete is moving a few degrees every second. If the camera is even further, it can see more so the athlete is moving even less degrees per second. The nearer the camera is, the more degrees per second does the athlete appear to be moving, which is why cameras that focus really close actually show the truest speed.

Thank you, man! The song wasn't up some people's street which is fair enough. Others just dislike it due to drug bans and the fact he is American. Kind of crazy really. As long as at least one person enjoys my videos I will keep on doing it!

Not max speed, bad self confidence. He almost always gave up when he saw anyone approaching him. He never even struggled he just gave the race away.
