EASY Step by Step 4C Hair Ponytail Tutorial!

- Hope everyone is doing well and that you stay at home so we can help flatten the curve.
We're well into week three of the lockdown here in New York due to covid 19 and I wanted to take a stab at doing a 4C ponytail, so I had a FaceTime hair appointment with my NYC stylist Gabrielle Corney. GRWM as I learn how to get my 4C hair into a sleek ponytail with EcoStyler gel and a bunch of combs and brushes. This is one of my favorite natural hairstyles!

This is such a naturally easy process for me that it is wild to see you struggle. Your stylist is a great teacher and it taught me to be patient when explaining how to do hair. I would rather just do it. Thanks for sharing. When I watched the last video with your stylist doing your ponytail, I looked and said got it!!!! I can do it with out looking. Ask me to do a smokey eye and no look like Ricky Racoon though.....

Danielle this video was good for me because my daughter has something that she can see for herself on how I do her hair. The only thing I don’t like about this process is all of the gel that has to go into the style because of the thickness of the hair. Thks for sharing. Nice and at times it's good to have a stylist who can give pointers on getting that hair slick down for that ponytail. End result was beautiful and with more practice you will be a pro with baby hair and all. Loved the earrings quite a statement. Stay beautiful and safe!

Gel will remain a once in a while product for me. It’s great for a style like this but I haaaaate the wash out process. Not to mention I don’t like hair product that can get on my face and make me bump up 😭

My hair recognizes yours😂😂😭😭. I have to work real fast. What is a good gel for 4C hair that’s none drying?? I love your stylist. She so calm. It is hard to get natural 4C hair to lay down. I have to use thicker ponytail holders. Does the gel have alcohol in it?? Very drying😕. I’m super tender headed too. I cry when I comb the tangles out with conditioner in my hair 😭😭😭

Oh I went to order this wig but they require a signature. I’m on my no contact vibe so no post office, no contact at all but I understand the problem with people claiming they’re not getting their order or scamming. I was trying to find a contact but couldn’t. Any more info?

London Girl In the Usa what? Why would you wish for people to be “broke more?” And it’s not that people are broke, we’re in a global pandemic. People are working from home and still want to look presentable for video meetings and such, but can’t get to a hairstylist because they’re all shut down.

I ran & got my hair done right before Gov Cuomo closed nonessential businesses. I am natural but my sister is getting concerned because she has waves & wants me to put that curly perm in her hair. I told her that the most I can do for her is give her a wet & go.
