- I made this video back in 2018 and always hated it. But a number of people asked about it so here is a re-upload. Apparently the videos I hate the most are the ones people love the most.

I uploaded this just for you chuck.
@@AdonisPaul Description is true, you have bad taste depite making this funny video. He knoweth not what he do, he just doeth.
@@chuckmangione1552 bad taste? Curious.
@@i.am.not.herbert Don't make him explain. My buddies all have a dossier on why I suck.
@@AdonisPaul I mean, those are call blackmailers usually. But hey, if that's your prerequisite on friendship, I'll be your buddy. 😁
This theory failed the first time Biff said ‘Tell your mom I said hi’.
He actually said, "What are you looking at Butthead? say hi to your ma for me".
I like the theory that Biff recognized that Marty was Calvin Klein and had ingratiated himself to the McFly family to figure out the mystery. He had all the pieces, but it didn't come together until he was an old man. In his own rudimentary way, he intuited time warfare and managed to checkmate two timetravellers without prior knowledge of time travel or owning a time machine.
exactly it was odd that he gave Marty extra attention as soon as he came back.
for George and Lorraine, it makes sense that they wouldn't recognize him as Calvin; considering George thanked "Marty" at the end of the film. he likely just thought it was a lost McFly (bc Martin and Seamus are Marty's namesake)
but for biff he would have a decent idea and wouldn't have much of a picture of Marty growing up, he would recognize Calvin Klein once he reached the age
and then for the week or two Marty was gone, that's when he realized something was up
I enjoyed this perspective.. oddly, I’ve met school bullies years later. Changed guys.
one slight problem, biff was bullying george as you can see. and hes got his own gang. hes still a bully and the leader of a bully gang.
"biff was bullying george as you can see" he was trying to teach him to be more independent and stand up for himself, but Goerge couldn't take a hint. " and hes got his own gang" it's bad to have a group of friends now?
@kevinammann5042
We've now had two generations without school bullying - Millennials and Zoomers - and look how they ended up: Assholes on Twitter and other social media. Maybe bullying, within reason, had its purposes...
This was a clever piece, thank you. I must say I laughed a number of times.
I thought of this when I rewatched all three movies a few days ago and It’s just more realistic that Biff is a bad guy with his ancestors probably bullying him into being a bully himself.
If you lolk at anyone in detail they could be a villain in a way, Lorraine hits on a guy who was hit by a car, stalks him, undresses him without consent, wont let him be even when hes trying to turn her to someone else.
The narrator of the video sounds exactly like the actor who played Biff Tannon. Lol.
That ‘85 Toyota 4x4 hasn’t depreciated in value. All was worth it. Just wish the Pinheads didn’t sign that contract with Geffen.
This reminds me of the theory that the Karate kid was the bad guy and someone actually explained it on CZcams. In fact the new series addresses it
Yeah, except the Daniel's the real bully theory was more believable than this. Biff was clearly the instigator here, Marty didn't walk into any of Biff's business outside of defending his own mother and father, such as Marty intervening on Biff harrasing George in the diner and intervening on Biff harrasing Lorraine in the school cafeteria. This was quite different from Daniel chiming in on Johnny arguing with a girl he just met that night on the beach, and they were arguing more than Johnny just straight up harrasing Ali like Biff was to Lorraine.
And this guy in this video sayng that Marty was the antagonist for wanting the almanac back so he could save his own life and his mother's from an awful Biff controlled sesspool future and literally save his dad's life which would've ended with a bullet if Marty had failed to get the almanac back and return to 1985 without Biff's hands on the almanac. Yeah, I can see how Marty's the bad guy for wanting that, lol
Yeah even Barney breaks it down on how I met your mother
That's probably where he stole the idea for this video
marty isn't the Villain, biff is the villain, everything bad that happened to biff was just apart of fate, the tanan family has a history of being cruel and nasty, take kid tannen's biff's father for example, kid was mob boss and a gangster of the 1930's era(if you consider the telltale game canon to the movies,I do)he killed, bullied and intimidated people including marty's grandfather. Madd dogg tannen(biff's ancestor)was a bank robber in the wild west...another tannen who also bullied and treated people(including the mcfly's)like trash.
Did you watch the video? you completely missed the point. lol
Yeah Marty is no villan he was Literally trying to save his own timeline and stop himself from dying im sure everyone would do the same in that position Biff is the real villan here
This went way over your head bud...
No shit. This is from Biff's point of view.... He has no idea who this Calvin Kline is that keeps fucking with him constantly.... @@nickbusby9920
Biff is Horrible!!
This is one of the best fan theory videos I've ever seen.
I thoroughly enjoyed that.
So much so I went back 8 hours later and watched it again.
It never dawned on me that Biff didn't know Marty and continually gets pummeled by this random little dude.
I meant Tom Wilson once. I wish I would have known this theory back then so I could have asked him.
I think in the original timeline he assaulted Lorraine too. That's why she's an alcoholic.
An interesting theory but I don't think that in the original timeline Lorraine was parking with anyone, she was most likely already dancing with George at that point
She's an alcoholic because she is in an unhappy marriage. Nothing to do with Biff. In the original timeline Biff wasn't involved there, she just went to the dance with George directly.
@Tatiana_Palii the original time line she took george to the dance, as thry explsin because she hit george with the car. Although it is weird, that she stayed with him, if she's not happy
@@wwerules000Lorraine probably gets more control of the marriage as a result of her husband being passive not able to stand up for himself?
Back to the future from Biffs perspective would be crazy.
That would make a nice fan flick.😅
Every good villain is the hero of his own story.
Biff Tanen is a bully, a true villan
5:32 This wouldn't have happened at all if Marty didn't attempt to take the sports almanac home in the first place.
You forgot to mention the alternative 1985 Biff aka rich man Biff.
Well what about the whole casino thing in 2? Also the fact Biff tried to kill Marty several times? What about the fact he bullied George for years?
The 50s PSA happy go lucky music is a nice touch.
10 minutes and 27 seconds of gaslighting😂😂😂
Biff is the villain because realize a car it’s expensive but not worth a life. Marty was fighting for his own existence at this point. At least Biff would get to live after word but Marty could’ve had to stop existing.
What?! lol
This was an absolutely tremendous opinion that's worded wisely and goes down like a ice cold glass of Doctor Bombay.
Thank you, Adonis for this wonderfully worded masterpiece in which you reveal your greatest of tastes and discernment. Bravo!
Stay Awesome and Frosty!
This point of view really changes things, but you have to remember that the reason his book was being stolen was because the whole town was destroyed and ruined by Biff in the alternate timeline, where Biff was also a murderer for killing Marty's father. Biff was a villain half of the time. Cool video though!
Interesting take. Looking back at it I, and (I assume) most people simply accept Biff as the antagonist. Thia was pretty neat nice work AP
Glad you made this video got me falling out laughing keep up the jokes on movies not just BTTF.😂😂😂
I'm just glad you got a laugh. Some people come to these comments trying to take a joke way too seriously.
@@AdonisPaulAre all of your videos a joke? Just curious? Like the Ali is trash video. We’re you Sirius about what you said in that video? Again just curious? Was this video about Marty just a joke? You’re not serious? Again just questions?
the irony is though, and i have always said this. when biff says "you stole my stuff/ referring to the book" no sir. he did not . Marty was in the future, and used his own money to purchase that book and got teh reciept. marty paid ofr the almanac and therefore it is legally and rightfully his. biff from 60 years in the future stole it form marty. marty was just getting his rightrfuly paid for merchandise back
In theory this is correct. In actuality tho the book was thrown in the trash. So old biff didn't steal it, he acquired it from the trash receptecal. Then in 1955 when old biff gave his younger self the book to 1955 Biff that book was a gift from the mysterious stranger so to him it was indeed "his stuff" as young biff didn't know the history of how the book came to be his in the first place. But nevertheless that book didn't belong in his hands it was destined to be destroyed to keep the fabric of the space time continueum in tact.
In fairness, Old Biff didn't steal it. Marty/Doc threw it away. If you throw something away and someone gets in from the garbage, they didn't really steal it.
@@aarona1895 no however, it still belongs t marty legally. marty didn't throw it away, Doc took it and threw it out without marty really wanting him to. but it is sitll actaully martys stuff
Marty left with Doc. Had Old Biff not intervened, it would have been picked up by the garbage man.
You forgot to mention the alternate timeline beff and his grandson.
This is a hilarious take, I love it!
On of the best BTTF videos ever
Marty wasn’t supposed to go through all of this the real “villain” is doc for stealing plutonium and getting killed for it leading to every event in the trilogy
I could so a whole video on Doc Brown. Why did they have to go FIX THE FUTURE...Just tell Marty to take the family on vacation that week or something...
@@AdonisPaul yeah he goes from telling Marty not to alter history but then goes to the future bc his kids get arrested pretty stupid IMO.
@jacobtommer-1653
I agree. Doc Brown is a genius and a man of science. Him causing unknown butterfly effects in the timeline just to settle personal grudges is beyond reckless and irresponsible for such a man.
Lol AP. You can't BS me...I know you loved back to the future too.
Old biff made a 2nd pit stop and stopped by CZcams in 2021 and changed his name to Adonis Paul
I actually not sure if I agree on some stuff, but one thing that does stick out to me. Why doesn't Biff realize that Marty looks just like that kid from years ago.
Even if he thought he looked like the kid from years ago, his first thought would not have been that there was some kind of time machine that took him back to 1955. He probably would have thought that it was just a coincidence and that his memory of the kid from 30 years might be a little fuzzy and he probably just thinks he looks like him but he couldn't be the same guy.
Never looked at the movie from this point of view. This is really interesting.
😏Think of this as a PRIMER to "Enjoy your Movie". It's not that bad so there is no need to really hate it.😏
You also forgot the best reason why Marty deserve beating up by Biff in the 50s... for scooting around on that girls hoverboard. It was obviously a girls hoverboard. They music Pink should only be a girls hoverboard in fictional 2015. So they definitely knew it in that 1985 era.
The 80s, and the actual modern era are just an aberration of idiocy. This real men wear/hover on pink nonsense is BS!
I had the idea for an alternative BTTF Part 2, in which Doc mistook Marty Junior for Marty after the hoverboard chase, stranding young Marty Senior in 2015 while giving Marty Junior the opportunity to deliberately erase Biff's son/Griff's father (whom I named "Cliff") from existence. So it would have been a dark mirror to the first film: Doc has to ensure that Griff's parents meet because Marty Junior was purposely trying to prevent that happening. So the "Marty" character would have been the villain, and the "Biff" character would have been the good guy.
@@marrychrismas306 This is in my imaginary alternative version of BTTF 2, not the real one.
Biff the tragic hero
Now we need Cobra Kai-esque Back to the Future series from Biff’s point of view 😂😂😂
2:55 if it was not for Marty then George would not have been in the café in the first place
That's right. George would've been already eloping with Lorraine from the night he was hit by the car, since there was no Marty to push him out of the way and get hit instead. However, since George now would never stand up to Biff, Biff would now continue to use him as a pushover like he did in the diner, and which he would continue to do so straight til 1985 when he's still using George as a pushover at work.
I grew up watching this n this video was very interesting. Bravo Bravo man
well, when you put it all like that … yup, i’m convinced!
After part 3, Marty would need to go back to the 50s again to repair any damage his actions did in the 1800s. Then check in on 2015, and then go back to compensate any mistakes made, ad infinitum...
Yes! MORE PLEASE!
@Adonis Paul
Good video, all the reasons for the alternate point of view were explained well...
Except, could you further explain the hypothesis/assumption that the money was originally meant for Biff Tannen's college education?
On another train of thought, what are your thoughts about "Back to the Future 3"? I know it's supposed to explain and better fortify the story of Doc Brown. However, it feels as if they had to make another sequel and it simply doesn't have the same sizzle or urgentcy the the other films have.
They (the filmmakers) had to deliver a third episode... The quality of the third installment drops off a cliff in comparison to the other two films in the franchise. The film just seems to drag on. The Western cinematography was good I guess, but still. Thoughts...?
Biff didnt pay for his car to be fixed though, in part 2, when he was complaining to Terry about the cost, Terry told him to call Old Man Jones for a refund and not only did he get his car fixed free, but 4 cans of Valvoline Oil too. "4 cans for a $300 job? I could get a whole case for a $300 job!!!" (Thern Terry continues ranting about the smell of the manure that'll never go away and it's the last time he does Biff a favor)
This was a great take on this classic 80's movie. More often, we only see the story through one perspective. Great work on pointing out the other side of the story. 👍
idk why u hated this video, i thought it was hilarious 😂 whole video had me rollin'
like bruh, "twitchy midget"☠☠
Marty was a dupe. Doc was the villain mastermind, puppet master.
nice doing the "Daniel from Karate kid is the real bully" bit
Absolutely agree!! Great analysis
i have a challenge. i would like to see someone do a Empror palaptine /sidious is the real victim
This is just like the Karate Kid and Ferris Beuler. The main characters keep ruining peoples lives.
This is hilarious!
This is actually funny 😂 Loved it!!!
Bro Marty is the best character in the movie why you giving him crap he doesn’t do any bad things
this would have made an awesome Crackd After Hours episode
Do you know what was the big fault in your theorizing here, like something that you missed... And it was also a fault in the original movie?
No one ever addresses the fact, like the reason Marty what is who he was is because he grew up kind of angry and disappointed and unfulfilled by what a pantywaist his dad was and how much of an asshole adult Biff was. It obviously had a huge effect on it right? And that's obviously a large part of why he was willing to take all these risks and do all this stuff to screw over Biff in the past. Like not just to make his life better but because he was disgruntled at how Biff had an effect on him personally in his present original timeline.
And THAT'S how the movie screwed up. Because the Marty we knew from the beginning would never have existed still... If he hadn't been pissed off at his family life and everything like that. He probably would have been a little jerk off loser if he had not been faced with all that adversity in his personal life from the get-go, but somehow that one didn't get erased and replaced. He got to stick around. So why was he getting erased in the first place when his parents never met?
Doesn't make sense.
The Langoliers would have shown up and eaten that guy.
Wasn't it explained that they keep the memories from the previous timelines?
@i.am.not.herbert
To be fair, Marty basically did end up as a loser in 2015. Keep in mind, this is the 2015 after he just got back from 1955, meaning the McFlys are successful and rich. So you're kind of right in that once Marty lost his grit, he ended up being pathetic, which is why his kids ended up being snobby little jerks, as well.
Dude's Hillarious!!! Great video 😂😂😂😂
You were a bully in high school. Weren't you?
I am one now. Run.
@gregorydensford7185
You were a 🐱in high school who grew up to be a Twitter Bully and perpetual victim who tries to cancel people for not using preferred pronouns, weren't you?
This is hilarious 😂 & I love it.
Marty. Didn't cause the accident biff wasn't paying the attention all drivers have to while driving on the road.
I'll give you the fact Marty is stealing Biff's property as doc was dumb as fuck for throwing the almanac away.
Good video. You should do one on Ferris Bueller.
The defence rests.
To be fair, a 14 year old car would not be a classic in 1955. That would be like my 1987 Ford Escort being a classic car when I was in high school - it was known and tales are still told about it, but it was, let's face it, a $900 shitbox :P
And might I add my kind sir you get to marry any one of my daughters
Biff should remember Marty B..😂
Just watch Part II.
Lorraine is CLEARLY happier now that she's with Biff and that Irish bug George is in the cemetery.
What?? Seriously?? Lorraine is constantly abused, her kids are abused by him, and he killed the guy that she really loved and didn't just marry because he's rich.
8:14 let's not ease over the fact that biff could've obliterated Marty at this point.. Marty got off easy with two boots to the gut.
Haha hilarious video. Reminds me of a video like this but on the karate kid movie
If they ever made a new bttf movie, theybshould make it about biff and his side of the story and his relatives. Featuring new cuts and filming with new actors. It would be awesome maybe make a tv series about it.!
funny as heck! this reminds me of some videos i have seen like ivan drago is the real victim and johnny lawrnece is bullied by daniel laruosso. is the emporor of star wars also the one being bullied lol
thats messed up calling Marty a twichy midget just because he has Parkinson's its mean
Wow, THANK YOU for finally being the one to graciously share to the public what you, me, and many of us have known for a long time. 😂(Great video buddy, got a good laugh!)
Yes! Thanks ap!
I don't see this interpretation picking up as well as that of cobra kai...
And you forgot to blame Marty for the joke he played on his dad that alien's wear hazmat suits which is plastered on the front cover of his book that took him 30 odd years to compose.
The next villain video should be about the true villain of the Star Wars Prequels: Padme Amadala 😂!
Looking at Biff's pov, Marty is an asshole. Looking from a Marty's pov, this man has been inappropriately fiddling with a women that clearly doesn't like him. Looking from my pov, Biff doesn't have a right to bully kids just because his family has a bad reputation.
I agree with you 100%. I think anyone besides Biff can see that he is harassing Lorraine. She explicitly rejects his advances and tells him no multiple times. He's not innocently pursuing a crush, he's harassing her.
@BobDawkinsPSaccount
Given his situation, he didn't have much to live for, though. The true best ending would've seen George McFly and Biff become best friends and become successful together, because two wrongs don't make a right.
I can literally hear myself dying in this video. Creepy. How did I not know how terrible I sounded and that there was something horribly wrong healthwise. Compare it to anything I have done since. It's uncanny. Even my voice was dying.
Bitch Moves Final Counter: 23
You having a laugh or what lol
good vid though :D
What was it OB-Wan said about "a certain point of view"
could go one up for this first Marty was played by Eric Stoltz.. he could been the son of Biff and Lorraine who went back in time didn't really know Doc.. stole the car after he saw doc killed.. went back in time.. messed up the time line so George gets with Lorraine and since he doesn't know about the lightning hitting the clock Doc couldn't help him back to the future since he couldn't get help back maybe he didn't warn Doc about the gunmen . but Biff is somewhat successful is live being George's boss. In short Marty was even more of a jerk breaking up his parents, Not Warning Doc. Stealing time machine and might had stole music from 1985.. for eg like Huey Lewis and the News song played at the very beginning by Marty's band the pinheads
Biff hired a pr team
This is too far fetched. Marty's instinctive and cocky and can't help himself.. who would? Both Biff and Marty compete for the same spot under the sun... It's America isn't it? Competition is good.. and all is fair in love and war... what's the fuss.
Apple doesn't fall far from the tree... Biff and Mary are trying to break out of their family curses (criminal and victim) and their interests clash. Biff's stronk Marty's lucky.
What about were boff threw kids ball balcony and knock kid hat off
Pardon me, the timeline was destroyed when Marty saved George from being hit, and probably earlier, as soon as Marty arrived in 1955.
Marty shouldn't have suckerpunched Biff in the cafe, and borrowed the kid's toy, I agree. But nothing was virtuous about Biff and his gang chasing Marty and trying to ram him. And Marty didn't cause the collision, Biff did. And Biff was intimidating George and extorting money from him.
Was auto detailing such a bad job for Biff, as a small business owner? He was probably happier there than as low-level or mid-level management, terrified of being caught about having outsourced his reports.
The producers could have gone another route and made Biff a nicer man in parts 2 and 3, but that was their choice.
No, seriously. 👏👏 This is awesome. 😂 Make more of these. 😂❤
Biff definitely was the bad guy, for sure. However, it's reasonable to assume it wasn't his fault. In the _true_ good ending, Biff and George would've ended up good friends and both been successful, after George saved Biff's fate from being a loser. I know this is from the 80s and all and stuff wasn't that deep, but Marty really is petty for ruining a guy's life when it was clear he was already kind of a loser, anyway. In the original 1985 Hill Valley, no one was happy.
The car cost 302$ not 2300$. 2300 dollars in 1955 is equivalent to 17000 in 2020, alot more than that car would cost to by new
So if you saw someone doing that to your mom, you would have done what exactly?
J. Matthew Turner - Eat your heart out!
You must of been the bully in high school to side with the bully and think the hero is the villain
I always had a thought that when he punched him in his guts for stealing the Almanac and $300 of car damage was a very nice move, he didn't stick to him to get at least money from him. He just left... that's actually kinda wird, even I would try to get my money back, and I am not Biff to.... beef... with others.....
Uhm,... no, dude.
i always try to see the suposidly villans side when watchin a movie and bttf's biff wasn't the exeption.
Biffs Grandma must be Buford Tannens Daughter in law
Biff is a bully
Biff was a misunderstood king.
still loved the video though
