Strawberry Smell - Episode 15
Asli (Demet Ozdemir) is a young and beautiful girl who works at a pastry shop and loves making delicious cakes. While she is delivering a strawberry birthday cake to the customer, she is involved in a car accident and ruins her cake.
The person who is driving the car is Burak (Yusuf Cim), a famous womanizer belonging to a rich family. They start discussing from the moment they bump into each other and wish not to see each other again.
Since Asli could not deliver the birthday cake, she is fired as soon as she goes back to the pastry shop. She becomes so desperate and does not know how to a find a new job again.
At that time, her friend Gonca (Zeynep Tugce Bayat) who is working at the same pastry shop accepts the job offer that she has taken from a big hotel in Bodrum. She persuades Asli to go to Bodrum together so that they could earn enough money while working in the hotel during the high season.
Next day, Asli and her friend Gonca fly to Bodrum and unfortunately, find out that the hotel where they are going to work has been closed. While they are wondering where to stay, they find a 5-star hotel whose new owners are about to recruit new personnel.
So, Asli and Gonca decide to apply for a job in that hotel and stay there if they are hired. However, Asli does not know that the owner of the hotel is Burak whom she never wants to meet again. Their lives intersect once more.
In strawberry smell (cilek kokusu) tv series story, you will watch the lives of teenagers and see a relationship of opposite characters. Will Asli and Burak get along with each other very well? Will Asli forget her platonic love and start to fall in love with Burak? Will Burak find true love after he has gone out with many girls?

I love how this episode ends. I’m SO Happy that Burak TRULY Loves his Asli. And what a Great friend she has in Gonca!! Now I want to see them fight together the scheming Witch. But Asli doesn’t have a clue how Volkan truly is now. So that’s the scary part for them. AND….that stupid “future wedding announcement” from the demented Witch….that will make everyone on her side so happy and make things more complicated I think for our sweet couple Asli and Burak. 😭

This is absolutely true. Although Burak was constantly compared to Volkan, he did not envy him, there was not even a hint of it. And Volkan was envious of Burak from the very first scene (in episode 1, when Sinan read the news about Burak).
He constantly talked about Burak as a rival ("a person can't always win", episode 5; "you're used to the world revolving around you", episode 12; "this time you won't win", episode 13 ). Burak treated Volkan well no matter what.
Even in the 19th episode, Volkan will not be able to answer for his words and will say that he lied that he likes Asli so that Burak will admit to their relationship. Even here he made Burak guilty. Although he should have understood why Asli and Burak hid their relationship.

I really commend Elcin's character. She's not ambitious and not greedy. She's a good mother too. Something is just really wrong with her daughter's upbringing. They also don't have any similarities physically. It's like she's just adopted 😂 Elcin and Sinan are good people.

Burak should have come clean with Volkan about his feelings instead of reeling with jealousy after Volkan expressed his feelings. Asli could have said something as well. Volkan's character was respectful enough to be a gentleman and leave her alone.
Volkan tells Burak not to interfere in his life, he also got angry when Eda did it. But what does he do? He interferes in the lives of Asli and Burak. He constantly "wants to protect" Asli, even though she doesn't ask for it and he only makes things worse! Instead of showing his good qualities, he tries to discredit Burak. Even if Burak was just having fun with Asli, he has no right to interfere in their relationship! If he really wanted to PROTECT Asli, he would have warned Asli and Burak about Chagla's intrigues.

Did the writers forgot about the security Nihat mentioned a few episodes back that he had watching Sinan's home? Basak went to the house twice, and he received no report about it.
I was waiting for the writers to mess with Volkan's good character. They did similar in another series in which the good caring character became sinister in a triangleship.

Burak seems a bit possessive... It seems romantic and innocent in this show but in real life if a guy gies crazy cause he can't reach you after a few calls, then it may not be so romantic but a sign of something darker to come.
Burak does everything right. He loves Asli and wants to understand everything. He goes to her at night, although he has a difficult situation with his father and worries about him, and she behaves like a child, does not answer calls, does not come out to talk. Usually in Turkish TV series, men make things difficult, but Asli does something incredible, she creates suffering for herself.
