Winter Weather Driving Tips for Truck Drivers | Staying safe | stay warm

Its that time a year across the country the roads and weather are terrible. Make sure you are ready to stay warm in case you breakdown. We keep 2 1lb propane bottles and a Mr. Buddy heater under the bunk. We also have a 12vt heated blanket to warm the mattress and blankets when we get back in the truck from our 34 hour reset

Yes, I had to call 911 to get me out of the truck this past week. Windshield of -41°F when my truck shut off.... a Mr buddy is going in my truck when I get back. I have a -20°F sleeping bag, but staying in the truck with no heat for 36hrs would not have been safe.
Pro tip: anti gell doesn't keep up in -30°F and colder.
