5 days after this was recorded I saw FJM live for the first time. (In Riga. And then for the second time in Vilnius).
Keep looking back to these two nights in August whenever I feel down. Miss you. Next tour when you come to Europe I promise myself to make more than two shows. Hope you’ll make it to Russia someday soon. Love, love, love.
I remember picking up FJM's first album randomly, because Drjuchin's album cover was so killer. I trusted the man behind the counter as he told me about Josh and his time with Fleet Foxes. 'This must be cool' I thought.... that was one of the best picks of my life. I was an instant fan, and even checked out all of his older works under J. Tillman (which I highly recommend for any real music lover)... and let me say, after years of being a fan & seeing him live numerous times... Off-Key in Hamburg has a certain beautiful pain about it... Take care, man. You have a special place in our hearts.
