Red Eye The Imperial Navy is probably the most important force in the Imperium as well as the most powerful one as well in my opinion, even more so than the quadrillions of imperial guardsmens who hold the line on the ground and the superhumans childrens of the Emperor.
Why? Because it is the first lime of defense, possess nearly 100% of the Imperium warships and a sizable part of the merchant fleet, and because each ship of the navy, even the lowly corvette, is more than capable of inflicting exterminatus on most planets.

This was very well shown in the one book in the first Ultramarines trilogy. The Tyranids were pretty much at the gate, almost all of the space marines who were deployed were killed, but still the guard forces stayed at the walls. And even one of the PDF administrators who wasn't obligated to fight put on his armor and picked up a lasgun.
People like to pretend the Imperium is an evil regime but it is only necessary evil and the people who comprise its fighting forces are some of the best examples of humanity has to offer.
@@duxae1617 That's one of the great things about the 40K universe. There's no clear cut good guys, it really depends on which factions point of view you look at things from. The Imperium of Man does things that are outrageous when you look at them from our current perspective as humans, but in their time and place they're just doing what they need to for humans to survive so a necessary evil like you said. When you read some of the books that feature Imperium forces like the Space Marines and Imperial Guard it gives you a good insight into it.
The Space Marines for example are brutal to their enemies in battle, they're destructive in the extreme when dealing with enemies, but then you get a scene where a Space Marine is enjoying some art.
Imperial ships look so fucking good. Just perfect to purge aliens, mutants and heretics. This was a really great tribute video!

My ONLY COMPLAINT is the sped up tempo of the song itself. I get the speed and timing for building urgency, but, the sped up tempo--especially when the vocalist came in--just KILLED it for me.

I don't even know what to say... I made this video "on my knee" (literally meaning I didn't have the means/skills to do it, but somehow it worked).
That is, I have no professional education. And even now I see a bunch of mistakes that I would like (and can) fix.

Space Marine lore says they move with mutch greater speed, agility and downright grace then would be expected by their heavy armor.
This is one off the few clips showing this right.
The books have repeatedly mentioned that their movements are so fast that they are hardly perceptible to the human eye. Of course, there is the problem of inertia, because they have quite a massive armor. That is, they just hit very, very quickly, but it is more difficult to return the hand to its original position (but only a little harder, yet, they are incredibly strong).
And you can add a psychological aspect. I'm sure in the days of the Great Crusade, many soldiers simply fled, seeing as their weapons do not cause the slightest harm to the armor of the monster, slowly walking on them and not making even an attempt to accelerate.

I am severely disappointed in the actual gameplay of Battlefleet Gothica ... not enough ships allowed to be used on your side... while the enemy can get so much more... But I do love the trailer for it... and I love how you used it for this video~!
In Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2, there are points, which shows the strength of your and enemy's fleet. Some factions has lower amount of points than other (tyranies and orks for example), because their ships are weak, doesnt have void shields, slow, or has lack of armor.
It is balanced enough to fight and I really enjoy it. With just four cruisers I can hold my position from waves after waves of Tyranids.
@@olegkupran5284 I've never played 2 yet... only the first one... did they change the amount of points you can spend on building up your fleet in 2?
@@clockworklaharl9977 I'm not sure. But in 2 game, you have three different fleets on the start of campaign. The Adeptus Mechanicus, Adeptus Astartes and Imperial fleet. The amount of fleets increases when reaching new levels.
So, if the enemy has two fleets in the system, you can always bring three.
@@olegkupran5284 Also... in the first one... I've only ever been able to deploy 1 or 2 cruisers cause I only ever get 300 points to spare while the cruisers are at LEAST 150 points... I have to fill the rest of the spaces up with light cruisers which tend to be the first to go.

I wanted to answer, but it was already done for me. Just add that this franchise is no less than the expanded universe of star wars - this will allow you to understand how much information we are talking about. I was most interested in warhammer 40 000 for more than 5 years and still know two thirds of the power of the canon.
From all this it follows that the additional material on Warhammer is VERY MUCH. Excellent art, computer games (not always good), interesting books, the size of the canon itself, because it is described very well and is of interest in itself. Here you, incidentally, is another short excerpt from yet another fan movie about Warhammer (but it has not yet come out).

Certainly. Just keep in mind that everything used in the video doesn't belong to me, but is taken from a bunch of trailers and fan shorts. (you don't have to ask each of them about using their work in the video, I think they'll be happy if their work is shared)

is that just me, or both video and audio are so correctly "speed up'ed", it's on the verge of being uncomfortable? maybe something like 0.95 will do the job, or so...

That's right. Some videos are accelerated by 5-10% in order to have a tempo suitable for music (and not like in 90% GMV, where without the slightest rhythm they simply impose music on the video sequence). Also, I accidentally confused the normal version of the track from the accelerated one, so the track is also faster.
В общем, некоторые видео ускорены на 5%, чтобы под темп музыки попадать, а не как обычно в GMV, тупо на видео музыку сверху наложить "и так сойдет". А еще я случайно перепутал ускоренную и обычную версию трека, так что музыка тоже чуть ускорена (хоть это и оф трек).
