Heavy on the buy what you like, I bought the Radiomir Master after saving for ten years. It was one of the greatest moments of my life. I even flew from Amsterdam to London, had a coffee, and flew back three hours later just to get it. Even though I'm attached to it, I'm ready to do some research and see what it's worth now.
Great that will fetch you some cash. *I used to be a collector, but I liquidated my collection to venture into real estate. In January, I acquired homes in Malibu for $35million, and the returns on investment far exceed what I earned as a collector.
How did you grow your portfolio to $45m, I'm impressed, I have a lump sum in the bank, the rates are not impressive so I'm moving it, what's your cash flow like?
I have a financial advisor (trader) she grows my liquid assets and I reinvest the weekly payouts back into real estate and long-term ETFs.
Sure, could you please share her name with me or any details so I can look her up online? Thanks!
She is well known as - Diana Leayani Lara. please do your own research.
I did start collecting back in 2008. I did buy, what I liked, until today. Hypes come and go, Passion for the hobby is what keeps our hearts ticking, thats the way to go. Happy weekend to everyone.
100 percent. I only buy what I like. Naver buy the hype
Wear what you like. I remember those days.
Agree. Heading to Florence soon also to visit the OG Panerai boutique. Cant wait.
Watching this with my 43mm Offshore Chrono on the wrist - rose gold with ceramic bezel. Love my Offshore!
I love these guys! Chemistry and knowledge on point!
Great video. Pretty hard to have this hobby today when every major city in the US and a lot in Europe feel dramatically unsafe to wear your watches in. Everyone has to have that watch in their collection, that can go and do anything and that you love as much as you do your other pieces but also you don’t care about handing over to anyone who comes at you for it. Sucks to be honest.
Got my first Panerai in January. The Pam177 in Titanium. So much fun to wear!
I love my PAM176, also in Titanium.
Great video! Still love my 24A
Great topic! Panerai was my first watch love and I really enjoy them. I think the small watch trend is going to be short lived since it's mostly driven my celebrities. Although Panerai gained traction from a celeb as well. Who knows! PS: Wear a G-Shock on vacation in Europe these days. Read Eric Wind's recent post about a woman customer being tackled by three men in Brussels for her Day/Date.
You look like your going to knock out the next AD that says there's a waitlist or ask you what your spending history is.
They look like they work in a factory making fake g shocks
@@robertdoyle4098you look like the sort that buys a fake gshock
Can someone share more details about how the modern Panerai finish and quality compares to the 90s?
Talk about anti-hype. Took my P01 to South America without any worry lol. No one would want to steal this brick. Used the 12 hour bezel to track home. Snorkeled in the Pacific, did wilderness hikes with it. Love the memories associated with it now.
I own a Grand Seiko SBGV245, amazing watch. I love it on the green (aligator?) strap you have it on in the video. Where can I get that?
It's a custom strap by delugs
thinking of getting a panerai destro!
I rarely see the man on the right, hes my fav watch man,no flashy BS,just a normal genuine watch guy,,hed be into watches if thier was no utube .
Yes I agree with you about wear what you like.
I've been tempted by a Panerai radiomir so many times.
Sad to hear you say about being frightened in Europe wearing a nice timepiece. Luckily I live in the countryside in Wales, but, when I visit Birmingham it's never an issue.
Hype has died down? Are Daytonas, Royal Oaks, and the the most popular Pateks freely available for purchase at retail for the masses? Do any of those trade even close to retail price on the secondary market? Hype may not be the behemoth it was a few years ago, but it is clearly alive and well
I love the Pierre Cardin Espace collection watches....crazy unervalued but superb shapes for your personal enjoyment
In that sense, I think Rolex Explorer ii is also a great example too.
Oris could have been included as an anti hype brand.
“In about-a five minutes.” 😂
Thank you for this conversation, guys! But if it is supposed to be a dialogue, two voices should be equally heard. And the guest comes first, I guess.
No offence! 🙏
Nice watching this wearing my 47mm pam 194. 😁
Love the Grand Seiko a lot. I own a 9F quartz Grand Seiko as well and am so impressed about the price/quality level. To me they can compete with Rolex no problem.
What a coincidence, just browsed through 9F models in particular and like four minutes later stumbled across this video through social media. 😂
I was drawn in by these size “restrictions” when I first started, and I am over it. Buy a piece for how it looks on your BODY and PERSONALITY that day. Buy it for the part of you that you want to project. Limiting yourself to 38mm pieces because of a wrist-shot takes a lot of fun off of the table
I'm sure they'll be happy to take a large Panarai off your wrist in London... Grand Seiko quartz should be pretty safe though.
Panerai is certainly fun. My disappointment is that every model in the Luminor & Radiomir lines look the same. Have to look at the Submersibles to get a bit different, but these watches are over $10k.
Exactly why Panerai sank themselves….unlimited limited editions, rehash after rehash and absurd pricing.
Great video, guys. It would be nice to see a video addressing the secondary value of Grand Seikos. It is something that is keeping me away from the brand and I believe the company should address it.
small and thin..... Noooo.... No.... It is a Major Major No! Panerai please come back... 40mm - 45mm is totally fine 🤓.. and it has to have a power reserve. Actually I am going to stop talking about Panerai.. so I can have the market to myself.
There is a french politics who looks so much like the guy on the left.
I'll take that as a compliment 😉
Europe is not safe is quite a big statement. As if all of asia is safe and small finish town is not?
Asia is safer than Europe by all statistics measured just for watch crime. Stats isn't biased or does it lie.
@@RevolutionWatch Sad but true.
@@RevolutionWatch but Europe as a whole is pretty widespread. Manila and Singapore is not the same either
❤ P A N E R A I ❤
wear a G-Shock to Europe
I promise you rappers are not wearing pearls.
the little guy lost me with his selection...
Take it how you want it, that's the beauty of the free world.
@@RevolutionWatch who said it's a free world? Dont kid yourself...
It's ironic the guy talking about hype is dead is an asian guy named Wako with wanna be yakuza tattoos. Let me tell you something son from a guy that has no tattoes, 280lbs and a terrifying looking former boxer. Sometimes when your looking for attention be careful who's attention you get. You get my drift wanna be yakuza.
What's ironic is that a self-proclaimed former boxer stooped so low to be a keyboard warrior to seek attention here and ask us not to seek attention.
@@RevolutionWatch There's nothing ironic about that. I don't walk around looking for attention Yakuza boy. I am the real gangster, your a wanna be.
You want a cookie or something?
@@RevolutionWatch Yes, a Chinese fortune cookie.
I have a man crush on Wei.
amzwatch 's watches are worth it!
