"You don't need 100 damage." Once upon a time at a modern tournament, years ago, my opponent and I timed out in game 1 in a soul sisters mirror, with 250+ health each.
In Arena I've gotten to about 7 billion life (couldn't see the exact number because the display overflows a little over 2 billion) in a match after copying Revenge a bunch of times. That was before the days of Vito though, so it's unlikely anyone would play multiple Revenges without winning these days.

You are legitimately the da vin chi of magic the gathering. Your decks are art, genius and awe inspiring all at the same time! You single handedly inspired me to be a more out of the box deck builder.
I didn't know you could download decks for the first year I played Arena. I was asking in forums for learning resources when I got walled in the diamond tier using only home brews. They were like, dude, if that's true, u don't need tutorials.
Sadly, I have hours of unedited gameplay going back for two years. Just no time to launch my CZcams channel. Yet.;)

@@matteopriotto5131 Orvar, the All-Form. To add to my hastily written comment cheap bounce spells like unsummon and return to safety from Shepard of the flock because they can protect against both targeting and wrath.

I once had to kill an opponent in modern that had gained 30,000 life, by attacking every turn with emrakul until they had to draw with no cards in library. He wanted to play it out.
I historic brash taunter and capridor. I am a huge fan. Been tinkerin with the deck idea for like 5 months. I'm still really enjoying playing it. Take my thumbs mister!

Font of Mythos + Thousand-year storm + anointed procession + Fiery emancipation = Septillions of googles of damage. I had 243 anointed processions and 50 Fiery emancipations. The damage was so great, the game just gave up and made my creatures do "0" damage. Such an Indie development game.
This deck reminds me of a commander game I played. Opponent had the Chandra with the +1 emblems that pung you and I had a Fiery Emancipation in play.
Then I had a Brash Taunter and played Star of Extinction. Opponent with the Chandra died, but the emblems stuck around and killed me on the crackback.

Yup, that opp was tapped down after the glimpse, Dark Lord had 3 mana up with which to fight the bonecrusher with taunter for lethal. It was a classic dingus scoop

So I have an idea for a lot more damage then this, and I think it might actually be possible to pull off.
The idea is to use Vito+ Righteous Valkrie to nuke, but this is enabled by Mythos of Illuna + Anointed procession. (You can use spark double for the last one).
Concept is to play out an anointed procession, then hit is with Mythos of Illuna. This will make 3 anointed processions. Then hit it with a second mythos of illuna, this will make 11 anointed processions. Then play either mythos of illuna or spark double on Righteous Valkyrie, and this will make 2048 new Righteous Valkries, which will gain you 16 billion life. If you have Vito out, this will also damage them for 16 billion damage.
Certainly won't be easy to pull off, but it does only require 3 colors, and the enchantments will be pretty safe until you are ready to drop the creatures. Should be possible in your standard board wipe decks.
edit: Oh, and it is lethal with only one mythos on the anointed processions, but it is only 144 damage and life gain. The true hilarity comes from the second mythos on the anointed processions.

Use "Ascent of the Worthy" and a board wipe. This additionally multiplies the damage with the amount of creatures you control.

You can do this combo with Jaya, Venerated Firemage + Ill Tempered Loner + a source of indestructible too. Jaya increases the damage of all your red sources by 1 so you just loop it. (Mechanized Warfare doesn't work because it specifies targets that opponents control)

I used to do the same thing with Mogg Maniac and Furnace of Rath. 5 points of burn becomes 20 to the dome, adjust as needed.
This reminds me of a paper deck I have (that's not legal in any format, I know, I know) that uses a combination of scry lands, Gitaxian Probe (to check for safety), Brainstorm to set up the combo by putting Gleemax on top of the deck, and then using Erratic Explosion to deal 1 million damage to face. Dr. Evil himself might be proud of that one.

the max multiplier from 4 fiery emancipations is 81, getting 30 lands all an orrery and 4 rings would be a total of 41 mana, with a 39x shatterskull smashing on 2 brash taunters you could hit a maximum of 6318 which is pretty good, not the smallest combo ever, but since some can go infinite it's not the biggest.

I think he thought bonecrusher would deal 2 damage when he targetted it with brash taunter ability. The frequency at which he makes mistakes you'd think he wouldn't quit early.

A libation is when you sacrifice water, or I guess other fluids, to a god or ancestor. It was done in the Ancient Orient and by the Greeks, hence it shows up in Theros.
I reckon adding in mirror march would be a fun addition, sure it makes it more jank, and that card on mtga is a little rigged, but that haste would let brash taunter's fight ability to be activated the turn it's cast. also if you pulled off a bunch of flips and activated storms wrath, then you'd get a ton of damage.

Taunter can't fight with summoning sickness because you have to tap it.
Quakebringer trigger ability deals 2 damage to each opponent during the upkeep, it also works when it is on the graveyard and if you control a Giant. So he was dead anyway.

I know we are not reasonable here BUT. If you want this combo to be as competitive as possible, you can simply play Frost Bolts. With Emancipation on the board, Frost Bolt deals 9 dmg to the Taunter and Taunter deals 27 to the opponent. That should be enough.
I have a janky deck id like to refine, Its about drawing and playing entire deck in one turn once it triggers, Nyx bloom for mana, Starix for spam, Garruk's uprising and great henge for draw. Yes, but it's just a fun deck to play that does cool things. I would play crazy decks with bad match ups over meta decks every time. It's just a game after all. If your not having fun why play.
i only play since zendikar but the brash taunter was my favourite jank card from the get to. I also like purphoros intervention in my taunter/emanciapation deck

Consider adding Obosh or Purphoros's Intervention for extra levels of ridiculousness.
In the last game, could the opponent not tap down the Taunter with his Giant Killer and shoot the dwarf token? Then he can attack with the Mammoth into Chris's Ugin for 5 damage? And repeat this the next turn? Or am I missing something?
If you want lots of damage you want to chuck in Toralf, you then hit their creature with Ugin for tons, it then triggers Toralf who triples the remainder into another creature, which then triggers Toralf going on and on and it just snowballs, I think my record is around 2 million damage or so from Toralf with a Demonic Bolt

I built a Toralf Brawl deck after having someone hit me for thousands of damage. It was my first Brawl deck, and it's still my favorite.
Yeah I run brash taunter in my goblin deck and use a card that when cycled it deals damage to a creature equal to the number of goblins and with the right set up it deal thousands of damage

You should try the Spell that destroys and land and Deals 13 damage to target creature. Into the maw 6 mana, Fiey Eman 6 and brash 5 so you could win around 7 mana instead of 8. You could keep the ugin for possible early drop when you have the bonus mana. But I think the Damage from into the maw would be funnier if you four eman'd it lol. Im an idiot

The OP at the end there really messed up that ending bit. He shoulda tagged the dwarf with Ugin, tapped the taunter with giant killer, and then had the mammoth crash into his Ugin for 5 and taking it off the ultimate. It was a fun game to watch regardless, and I really loved the jank of this deck lmao
Either way, should have triggered the taunter's fight ability when Ugin was -5'd or in response to being tapped down. Damage was left on the table there.
You should really consider swapping the 1 damage cave for Purphoros's Intervention. x double damage to Brash Taunter, or x elemental with haste and trample.
