The perimeter will need to grow out while you wear wigs (no glue). Once the hair all around the perimeter starts to grow out, cut the plastered hair off. You will lose your length but at least be able to protect your hair follicles. Less damaging than placing any chemicals that aren't meant for skin on your hair. You DO NOT want to risk chemical burns that may damage your hair follicles permanently (acetone is ok- may have to soak the hair thats left daily til it loosens). Where are you located?

This poses a serious set of dilemmas. She said she went to hospital because it was getting tighter. Hair grows 1/2in a month. Her hair has been like this for a month The hair that is growing underneath is trapped under the glued down helmet portion. This may be why it feels like it is getting tighter. If she shaves her head, she could irritate the follicles even more- especially if some are blocked with glue. If the acetone soaks and alcohol dont work ( that is a big if . I, personally, found it hard to dissolve spilled glue on my hand with alcohol, acetone OR goo gone), she may need to dissolve the hair off with a depilatory cream (Nair). It will release the pressure. She should test the depilatory cream first on another small area of skin and a small area on the affected area of scalp BEFORE using it on the ENTIRE scalp. You want to make sure there is no allergy to the product being used AND that the interaction between glue and depilatory cream wont cause MOrE issues for her.
I think using a razorblade or tiny manicure-size scissors to start very slowly (like 1mm at a time) cutting away from a free edge (e.g. nape of her neck) will be the only way to get it off. Nair would burn like hell and also can't penetrate through glue :(

The reason the Sadly Goo Gone only worked for that other person because the glue wasn't fully "cured" yet (it takes 24+ hours) hadn't been wet (which hardened it even more for the woman with it in her hair,) and the tiny piece of hair it also had lots of surface area around it which made it easy to pull from the skin. Even Goo Gone manufacturers confirmed it won't work :(

However, as you can imagine, applying the pure acetone to the scalp of all places is incredibly painful - the next video on her channel shows her and another woman trying to get it off and she is in tears, which is just horrible to watch. They are using water to dilute the acetone for it to be less painful, but I read elsewhere Gorilla Glue is hardened by water. God, I hope this girl is doing okay!!

She has been sent home from the hospital with acetone that should dissolve the glue. However, as you can imagine, applying the pure acetone to the scalp of all places is incredibly painful - the next video on her channel shows her and another woman trying to get it off and she is in tears, which is just horrible to watch. They are using water to dilute the acetone for it to be less painful, but I read elsewhere Gorilla Glue is hardened by water. God, I hope this girl is doing okay!!
