Beautiful film, thank you. I'm hoping to visit Bali for the first time in December - it's my post-PhD gift to myself. It's been 3 years since completing the Phd but have finally got the money together after some big personal changes. I love sound healing, power yoga and yin yoga. Have never tried ear candling - will have to try that.

Your view of the world depends entirely on where you choose to look brother. If you couldn’t find spirituality in the Balinese culture that’s entirely on where you were looking and your perception. The Balinese culture is one of the most spiritual and beautiful cultures in the world. Meet and interact with local people if you ever get the chance to visit again and I’m certain you’ll experience a different side to what it sounds like you have previously 🙏✌️
You didn't got into the Balinese culture, you got into the woke, expats, wanna be yogis that live in Ubud who are trying to scape from somehing, selling you expensive retreats, joga classes or magic pills. Many people make jokes about that "community" now a days.
I went to Bali 15 years ago, when no influencers, digital nomad existed, surfed and made true connection with the locals in Uluwatu before it go too cool, now it got colonized, don't think you can teach me anything new about the place "brother" @@dailysalt
