Nah while there are some stuff on this list which make no sense, that one actually makes sense. What they meant by no one can escape is no one can keep on escaping death even the flash will eventually stop. The weird thing is that the black racer is just an aspect of death though but I suppose it still works

She got her powers from a cheetah god if I’m not mistaken, kind of the same idea as getting your speed from Mercury like Shazam/Captain Marvel. But the reason they failed by putting Shazam/CM so low is that they take into account that he also has unlimited stamina (thanks to Atlas) and he can combine it with the strength of Hercules and the power of Zeus which augments his power even further.

@@amirmuhammadgymnast to be fair, you can be faster than a professional athlete (like someone who runs in marathons for example) in real life, but that doesn’t mean your technic is as good as them... i honestly don’t think Barry or Wally or even someone like Superman ever cared about their running technic as they are just extremely fast to begin with, while WW has actually train her whole life to be perfect in that regard.

Ik this is a late comment but Mercury got absolutely wrecked by WW and Cheetah has stalemated and even beat her. Trained by zoom who said " since your powers are magical in nature the only limits too your speed is what you put on yourself". Plus she is the literally avatar of the goddess of speed.

@@Chris-my9hf Since When was Zoom capable of stealing speed ? His original ability in the comics was moving his own time forward which made him appear faster, so he wasn't a speedster. It was in the Flash War where he uses speed for the first time, but this list was made before the Flash War. If you're talking about TV Zoom then i'm not sure what he has to do with this comic Universe list considering this list has the original Wally west as the fastest and he doesn't exist on the CW show. Quasi Terrible a lot of people underestimate how fast ww is, the god of speed been went out the window when barry came along so many characters has surpassed him in speed by now. Although I do agree he deserves to be a lil higher on the list, everyone seems to forget shazam is only as fast as lightning which was the fastest feat for the gods to achieve. But the speedsters can go multiple times beyond that

I'm surprised that he didn't even consider Darkseid, who literally flew to the Source Wall in *cough* five seconds. Shazam has tagged Flash before, so I think he should be a little higher up on the list.
Oh yeah, I honestly do believe Flash is still faster. I'm just saying that Darkseid should be on the list (he certainly is in my list) and Shazam should a little higher up (again, just my opinion, trying not to hurt other people's feelings or perspectives).

Wally West lived his life (and arguably...unarguably, still lives his life) being told he'll never be as good as Barry. So, to see him officially become the Fastest Man Alive after clawing his way to that title for over 2 decades? It's what fills our hearts with joy.

@@NJ-eo2oc I mean Cheetah routinely gives WW a run for her money and has shown on multiple occasions that she is just as fast as WW and sometimes faster whenever they've fought. Cheetah is one of the few characters that is fast enough to get past WW's bracelets of submission defence.

Because I see all of this "since when Cheetah" talk and I can't help but laugh seeing as I personally have post her training with Zoom for people to read themselves, never mind that time that Wonder Woman defeated Mercury. I get the feeling that the internet doesn't know crap about WW and that's why this will keep poping up again and again. Wondy wasn't always the most popular, but people have always seen her around in team books where everyone's abilities have to get written down or there would be almost no tension.

Chris Gomes godspeed got most of his juice drained at the end of his comic, Kid flash is still new to his powers so he would probably be faster later on, Cheetah kinda was a wonder woman of sorts in her own way with a goddess given her powers and what not, so I guess I kinda makes sense, And for Shazam... I don't know...he's a grey area for me after he kept a getting buffed to the point I heard he outran flash.
But I think this chart is checking all of their ' Running ' speeds not straight up moving speeds

I mean, yes all of the OG flash characters are faster than Superman, but Wally West said himself that with enough dedication, he could give himself enough of a boost to become faster than any of the speedsters. Still on par with all of them.

Me I love Barry more than Wally because I find him the most relatable Flash in terms of his rough life and development.
Also it doesn't make sense for someone who CREATED the speed force not to be the fastest

I like Barry because of his strong moral compass, he has more of the traits of a hero than Wally in my opinion. Also he has more control than Wally, he learned how to phase much faster. Also I think he could've been faster if he lived longer as the Flash. Also he creates Speedforce that Wally then uses, so Wally sorta owes him in that regard.
Chris Lang Its actually the opposite people got attached to wally because he is the most relatable flash not only the fastest, we got to watch wally grow up from kid flash to the flash struggling to make the mantle of the flash his own we got to watch him discover the speed force and learn to master it we got to watch him fall in love and start a family, train bart allen and overcome the mental block preventing him from surpassing barry. Barry Allen on the otherhand honestly doesnt deserve the absolute force feeding we’ve been given the past 15 years. For barry to be interesting they retconned that reverse flash killed his mother which wasnt the case originally and turned the flash into just another superhero with a tragic origin story instead of one without one, they take most of wallys character and stick it on barry. Why do you think they keep recycling flashpoint over and over again, because its the only modern story barry really has without him dying

People sometimes forget Wally West run as actually introduce the concept of the Speed Force first. Plus it has been stated multiple times that even though Barry created it Wally understand it better. See I don't think they really do. They don't have other people who's ability is solely super speed. Like marvel's quicksilver would be a good character to see in D.C. Because it's someone with super speed, but not completely over powered, fastest man alive super speed. It's actually a bit telling that D.C. Tyrone Kujo idk I kinda found it a relief when wonder woman and other non speedsters appeared on the list, because have been using the word ' speedster ' less like a power class and more of a title.
Like just because so and so is a speedster now that means they are faster than anything that isn't one, which I kinda dumb. I mean it would be like saying because so and so is kryptonian they are never losing in a match of strength.

Regarding Cheetah that is kind of an About Time sorta situation. Captain wields the speed of the actual Mercury. Cheetah is the avatar of a Cheetah hod (name begins with a U). Cheetah's are 3 times faster than humans so it folliws that a divinity based on them should be faster enabling her to tag Supes, Wally and Diana
Let me tell you, if everyone in this list lost their powers, Wonder Woman would outrun them all lol. Her speed was not just based by her godly origin, but also based off her centuries of training and fighting. And everyone seems to overlook the fact that Wonder Woman once blocked every piece of a shattered god travelling at insane speeds that reached every corner of the universe and brought them back together in one place. At top speed, she's obviously thousand times faster than light just basing off that scenario in the comics but the problem is, we don't really see her display her speed that much except that one, much less show her full potential. The only scenario I can think of is when she was running along with Jesse Quick and was perfectly fine keeping up with her and even entered the speed force alongside her, but that still did not justify Wonder Woman's true speed.
Watching this because my son asked who was the fastest flash and seeing the original video about Wally and Barry in which he eldues to the story that Josh would in fact write during this year. And getting the official list is cool.

Ann Lee this list was probably just made as of the Rebirh continuity, in which Jay Garrick isn't technically canon. I could see that being the same reason why Bart isn't even on the list.

Aaron Truong Jay Garrick is canon, he’s appeared in a few Rebirth issues where he saved Flash and Batman from being trapped in the Speed Force
He will appear in Doomsday clock as well as the rest of the JSA.
Everything before rebirth is still canon also.
