Go for it..age is just a number..just maybe wear the darker colors like dark blue dark purple dark burgundy.,,if you don't want to stand out...good luck at ya only live once.

That crochet method is everything! I’ve been splitting my parts and putting the braiding hair in between like a dummy.

YES! ME TOO! I have 2 teenage daughters and I SWEAR I have no grip...I can never get their ponytails and braids tight enough. Their hair is fairly long and braids seem to slide right out

I saw this on FB and loved it, especially the tip with the crochet. It does appear as if it will be much easier as I too have difficulty box braiding hair even with the rubber band.
