After 25 Years Ash is Getting Replaced as The Main Character in Pokemon

- Its truly an end of an era when Ash Ketchum is getting replaced as the main character in the Pokemon Anime. Its been 25 years since the anime began back in 1997 April 1st, when we started following Ash and Pikachu. To think its finally over at long last.... its sad but at the same time, it'll allow Pokemon to reinvent itself story wise with a new character. We also should have saw this coming after Ash won the World Pokemon Championship a month ago in the anime against Leon.

The end of a long era of pokemon...
Sure is 😢
)•~•)7
Imagine if all the years he hasnt aged kicked in all at once and he instantly died.
Ash's Journey took over 25 years they still had age past 10 and they're just going to move on like nothing happened. They better make the new protagonist a girl and put a lot of fan service
NOOOOO! 😭
Ngl seeing Ash and Pikachu’s journey finally come to end is making me emotional.
Your not alone 😭
**Buzz Lightyear clone meme.**
I cride when i herd this news
This has been literally my entire life. This kid was grinding for 25 years. I'll legitimately probably never have an ending/transition this built up in my life.
And still 10
Thats another thing. Sure we laughed and even got angry that Ash kept losing and that he never ages. But despite that, the way the series ended was well done, it suddenly felt like you feel the weight of all his hard work throughout the 25 years, probably more so for us who watched each series. So seeing him achieve his goal and him saying good bye, this hits hard in many ways.
25 years is nothing when time friezes for you to be 10 years old for almost 30 years.
@@sow_scout4989 completely agree. I kind of feel inspired on a personal level by how it took so long, but we got there.
Ash's Japanese VA, Rika Matsumoto, is currently 54 years old has been voicing Ash for the entirety of the series. She also sings a lot of the openings too. His English VA, Sarah Natochenny, has now been voicing Ash for 17 years, way longer than Veronica Taylor did back in the 4kids days. Granted, they probably could keep voicing him but the older they get, the harder it will be to keep voicing a 10 year old kid.
Goku,Gohan and goten jp va is 84. She’s doing fine. That’s another 30 years of ash’s va
@@jeff666p but they are not voicing an eternally young character like Ash. I feel like that is just gonna get harder overtime. Maybe the VA also wanted to retire before getting too old.
@@jeff666p and she makes them sound like an 84 year old woman. Kudos to her for voice the characters for as long as she has but let's not pretend that they sound amazing.
@@indifference1015 she voices all 3 of the Son family. You must only be thinking of when she yells. Because they sound distinctly different when they aren't.
@@HunterAero none of them sound like how they realistically should. Goten doesn't sound like a kid he sounds like an old woman trying to sound like a kid. Gohan sounds like a chainsmoking old woman and goku sounds likes an even older chain smoking woman. They all sound like an old woman.
I truly want to see an older badass Ash Ketchum. Imagine these new kids getting saved by a mysterious figure that turns out to be Ash. I've never kept up with the anime since Pokemon 2000, but an episode/s like that would be worth tuning in to.
Same but unfortunately it will never happen
Nah, they could make him the big rival though, the one who will always beat the new MC in the tournaments.
The doors are open for this idea because of this news.
I hope they will have Ash appear occasionally but as a famous champion that the new protagonists are aiming to be like, that they'll watch him on TV successfully defending the title, or he'll be watching the protagonists competing in their own leagues etc.
You know, the natural progression.
Or maybe years will pass and the main girl will be Ash's daughter. Her hairpin similar to Ash's hat logo and eyes being just like Serena creates such theory. Her character description says how she connects with Pokemon, passionate about battles, and easygoing. Like father like daughter? She also does not tend to reveal her family to just anyone, maybe because her father and mother are best trainer and performer respectively?
He is technically Red from the games now. He probably would make a comeback as the best master
There's an interview released on December 1st where the head of their business unit said that Satoshi's (Ash) journey will continue. So in the light of this new information it seems likely that he will either be a mentor type character tagging along or he will make occasional appearances still.
I imagine something similar to the end of Gold and Silver, where the new protagonists face him in the ultimate battle. Except without being on an isolated mountain.
He’ll be the goalpost for the new protagonists. They’ll learn about how strong the world champ is, but the only way to face him is to prove they’re one of the 8 strongest trainers in the world. Although with the way Paldea’s league is set up that may not work
This is really bittersweet news. I never expected this to actually come, but I think Ash finally having won leaves his story in a great place. Excited for the future of the anime! 💗
Started watching pokemon back in 1999, it been a very long and great journey...Sometimes legends have to move on
Ash Ketchum will outlive us all. He's so ineffective he can't even turn eleven. Jokes aside this show will always have a place in my heart. It's literally one of my first animes apart from Yu-Gi-Oh and Naruto.
I'm still hoping the new female Mc is Ash and Serena's daughter because the whole buildup between them in XYZ series would make sense for that.
As a kid who grew up watching the anime, playing the games and trading cards, I'm really sad that a part of my childhood is retiring after all this time. Thank you Pokemon for all the fond memories.
He truly was the very best. Like no one ever was. The end of an era.
To see him Winning the championship and finally ends his decade long journey is honestly a satisfying coclusion for his character he was probably for alot an inspiration and it makes sense because he's the most iconic trainer in the history of pokemon
There will be an 11 episode special with the original 3 (Ash, Misty, Brock) airing in Jan. That will be the final send off for Ash. Then the new series air's in April. This is wild man, our boy will finally rest. Speculation has been interesting. Will we see Ash's dad in those 11 episodes, will Ash and Serena end up together? Some people are also speculating that Rico is Ash and Serena's daughter.
Dude that hairstyle and eyes...way too much like Serena. If this theory is correct that'll be a really cool way to go about the series.
Only reason I think that it's not true is one, obviously shipping wars. Having Ash get with someone will be controversial as hell even if Serena and him are most popular pairing. Two, Ash wont be the only one they'll have to age up. I dont if they'll take that effort.
I wanna see my amour ship sail been waiting since forever
Ash & pikachu have come a long way after so many year's, as sad it is to see them go means that pokemon has change a lot. So thank you ash & pikachu for everything, Looking forward to 2023 🐭⚡
My hope is that they take the Yu-Gi-Oh approach and change protags every generation, but keep them around in the cannon of the story
Ash is now similar to King of Games status of YGO. Of course he's gonna have cameos like YGO legacy characters.
@@CDodger24 It should have been that way instead of dragging out his status for 25 damn years.
None of the same Yu-Gi-Oh characters appear after GX except in the movie 3D.
@@CDodger24 Except, YGO legacy don't have cameos. Hell, the storylines of where the dual monster cards come from are even different after GX. 5Ds, Zexal, Arc, Vrains, none of them share the same characters except Arc which brought back characters from the previous seasons to create the different dimensions. But besides Arc, none of the other seasons share characters, especially the MCs. Only GX shared two YGO MCs in Jaden and Yugi. Shame we didn't see if Jaden could defeat Yami.
I think this is very risky. I see them crawling back to Ash if the new anime bombs. You already saw how some Japanese reacted to the woke designs of NPC in Scarlet and Violet. The new anime will need to set its foot on their home court and it would be disastrous if it gets utterly rejected.
Yugi-oh is pretty much dead. No elementary students even play that shit anymore. Pokemon is still very much alive especially the TCG. By the way, this situation of the anime ending was what I thought was gonna happen during the height of Youkai Watch's popularity. Look at that franchise now. Dead(Both game and anime) yet Pokemon is very much alive.
Was not expecting you to go over this! I love that this news is blowing up and receiving all kinds of responses. It’s a sad thing, it’s a great thing, it’s even a scary thing. The anime is changing and we are saying goodbye to one of the most famous characters in fiction. It’s weird that we’ve seen Ash say bye to so many of his companions, but this time, we’re the ones he’s saying bye to and going our own ways.
Not satisfied with saying bye to all of his friends and pokemons, now he's saying bye bye for the whole audience and show too, what a man
I remember I experienced the big 3 when I was 15 watching all of them every week, but pokemon was something truly special to me even before that, its idea of summoning monsters and creatures influenced alot of video games and other manga and anime🙏
Pokemon was my go to game growing up, so seeing this news took me by surprise
I’m glad that they finally gave Ash a satisfying conclusion to his journey, but man it’s crazy to see the book close on such a massive part of my childhood.
I'm not going to lie I am getting a bit emotional but it's been a long time coming. The character Ash deserves a nice long rest.
I knew this was happening the moment Ash beat Cynthia, cause yeah, there's legit no where left for Ash to go in a storytelling way the moment he beats one of the absolute greatest trainers of all time (a trainer so amazing she was legit about to retire because she never lost). You can't have him beating someone like that and then just revert back to Ash losing half his early battles in a new series. Having Ash also beat Leon was just icing on the cake for proof he was retiring after this series.
I'm so glad they're making this change man. I remember watching X & Y and realizing that a Pokemon show with actual character development could be amazing. I feel like they really couldn't take the character of Ash anywhere now. He's been stuck as a character for ages. I really hope they take the show in new and exciting places with the new characters
X and Y was so great! Probably my fav part, although I wish we went back to the 3 protagonists structure..
I did wish they had this masters 8 arc come after X and Y. It would've been the highest note to end on for the series. Nonetheless the journey continues. I am sad to see Pikachu go though...
@@Anu32148 yeah, the show has been leaning towards toddlers since sm and journeys came.
I'll miss ash but the new characters can give the pokemon anime leaning more towards story than repetitive episodes and fillers.
Honestly I choose to see this as a happy ending. After years of work Ash managed to make his dream a reality, he will probably go on to accomplish more things that we will probably never get to see and that ok
Just because he’s not the main character doesn’t mean he’s gone completely.
My first Pokemon episode was ash going against misty. I didn't keep up with it after that but man it's nice to see he finally accomplished his goals.
End of an era for all of us that grew up on this legendary anime. Thanks for all of the memories, Ash and Pikachu.
Your not wrong Chibi and I think going forward the games should include voice acting because S/V are second iterations of next gen pokemon games that would be perfect to introduce the idea of voice acting but just like Sw/Sh it felt like they wanted to do it but opted out at the last minute. This is the hill I'm wiling to die on lol. Thanks coming to my TedTalk
Wow a bit surprising but understandable. My heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who worked and helped with Pokemon especially to the Voice Actors of Ash!
My main problem with Pokemon and Ash and i think this is the reason i dont think he could continue but I would obviously love for him to still continue, is that he has no continuation in his story, He gets new friends every generation, Loses them next generation, Gets new friends, Loses them, Pikachu has broken all the pokemon rules and is level 255 and STILL loses to a level 5 starter pokemon.. I Love the journey of ash kethum, He's been my boy since i was like 3 years old, and I do think that this is my final time watching the anime, my pokemon journey ends with his journey. But man has it been a frustrating journey with all the soft restarts and what not.. I Love every single generation and while i am born in 93 and i would say "First season best season" that's a lie. But now that i have learned about these news I am currently watching the entire pokemon series again and i can feel it in my bones that this is the very last time i may watch this series. i may re visit down the line, but this is the last time :) And I think i will enjoy it a lot more knowing that. that this time, he finally makes it. and the reason why i am so emotionally attached to this character especially and his journey was because pokemon was there for me when i was going through especially hard times. I am over those hard times, but i still hold this series dear even tho i have been frustrated and angry at the lack of character building, and all that.. I cant wait to get to the end! :)
Its about time Ash and Pikachu finally retired. For years, the Pokemon Company has been experimenting with web series that either didn't star Ash or starred the original game/manga characters.. and those by far have been the best Pokemon animated media to date. Glad they finally realized the mainline anime can evolve past Ash now that his story is concluded.
Our boy finally became a pokemon master. Now we can watch him ride off into the sunset as we root for new protagonist. Hopefully we see a grown up Ash appear occasionally in the new season.
I think it's a good thing that Pokémon is finally moving on, we have all grown up, and many many sagas have moved on, some finished and opted for choosing new main character/s.
For me, Pokémon long lost me on it's charm because it refused to give up it's main character for 25 years, and from the Pokémon's official CZcams channel you can see many interesting things that the main series could have never properly show because either of the formula it followed, the characters, their goal, the focus of the story, etc. I'm happy that Pokémon is renovating itself.
Sorry for my English ^^'
Thats not what people say about Boruto.
@@JayceCH. I think boruto is more a "want to hold on" to what you previously created without necessarily moving on
@@JayceCH. Because the series is only riding on the high from its original predecessor. It’s a cash grab series.
I haven’t watched the Pokémon anime in a long time. So far I’ve watched the original Kanto series through the Diamond and Pearl series and a little of the Best Wishes series since I got I sick and tired of Ash always loosing in every Pokémon League. I know that winning isn’t everything and all, but seeing him loose in every league gets very repetitive, boring, and tedious. Now I haven’t watched the XYZ, Sun & Moon, and Shield & Sword series but I did find out on social media that in one of those series, Ash did finally win in one of those leagues, which that is a relief. Now we get a new protagonist which is interesting as a refresher to the new generation of Pokémon fans.
I'm super hyped for it. I've been watching pokemon live for the last 10 years and I can't wait to see Ash's story finally get a proper ending.
As a longtime fan of the anime, having seen nearly every season of it, I'm absolutely ecstatic. I still remember watching Pokemon XY's first episode premier on Cartoon Network as a kid and going back to watch the old seasons while it was airing. I've seen Ash's gradual progression over the course of the series, with many friends and Pokemon met and departed along the way, and I think this season in particular had a true sense of finality to it. There's going to be a 11-episode long special series airing next year to fully complete Ash's journey as a protagonist, and I feel like that cements this particular season of Pokemon as a loving attempt at closure for his entire story. Old characters from every season were brought back, old Pokemon returned for certain episodes, and Ash faced the toughest trainers in the world and officially became the best like no one ever was. In the trailer for the specials, Gary Oak asks Ash, "Now that you've become the Champion, how close are you to becoming a Pokemon Master?" It's a never-ending journey, and rest assured Ash will keep progressing on his own path. I think this final stretch of episodes will serve as a nice epilogue to show where he and several characters will be going after they're out of the spotlight. It's bittersweet, but realistic. Life doesn't just end with one big accomplishment, and though things may change from here on out, they'll always keep moving forward.
Absolutely agree with you man!! i too think its good for pokemon anime to change their formula its time, experiment with charecters, arcs, rivalry, romance like in pokemon manga, really want to see charecters grow like in charecter development and age and ash too, ive been in the hangover and hard to digest its heavy hearted allday since the news droped anyways its end of an era!! thank you ash and pikachu for awsome childhood, you are the very best that no one ever was for me!!
I haven’t watched pokemon in YEARS. The last few episodes I remember seeing were after Ash had moved on from Dawn’s region. And despite that long gap, this news still shocks me!
I hope Ash isn’t gone forever. I hope he gets to make a few cameos, maybe as a MAJOR gym leader or something down the line or something, with a wife and family of his own-Is Misty still the main final love interest, by the way, or has another girl finally supplanted her?
Serena seems to be the main love interest for some time
@@symphonixblades Thank you for the reply, and yup...I have no idea who that is lol, but I wish her and Ash all the best regardless
@@kylewood2715 she was Ash companion for the Kalos region, she shows up sometimes in other regions as well
@Kyle Wood Serena is the female traveling companion of Ash in the Pokemon XY series. She met Ash back in summer camp when they were children, and has been in love with him ever since. She started her journey to find him after seeing him on TV battling an evil Garchomp. In her final episode she confessed her feelings to him and kissed him on the lips (they censored it because it's a kids show, but Pikachu, Clemont and Bonnie's reactions, plus the director interview, confirmed it was a full on mouth kiss).
Waitwaitwait, the Pokemon anime aired in 97? You're telling me the anime is as old as I am?
...Christ, I feel old.
I'm kinda curious if they're gonna keep the new MCs as 10 year olds for 25 years as well...
30 yrs old and pokemon will always be near and dear to my heart. loved it growing it up and still to this day...
I'm curious if this was the plan going into Journeys, or if they realized "Ah shit, we've written ourselves into a corner with this World tournament and have pretty much nothing left to do with Ash."
i have been watching ash since i was like 3 or 4 years old so it honestly makes me kinda sad to see him leave but his story did come to an end in journeys so i suppose it is for the best idk how to feel lol
This honestly should have happened many years ago. I'd argue for the Johto saga but they kept milking the idea of "lose league restart in new region" it got extremely tiring.
Pokémon was one of those shows that really got me into anime it’s sad to see him go but I’ll always love this series
So according to the writers, becoming world champion wasn’t the end of his journey because that doesn’t mean he is a Pokémon master, which is weird but ok. There’s gonna be a new 11 episode series of ash becoming a Pokémon master, meeting back up with Pokémon he released and traveling with misty and Brock
Your one of my favourite youtuber
As a long time pokemon fan who started from the anime, i think its time people acknowledge the pokemon anime
In japan, the pokemon anime, more commonly known as anipoke, is arguably even more known and widespread as the games as you dont have to pay as much to experience it
Whereas in the western world the pokemon anime started off as a classic, but now has become a lot more niche because of art style changes and whatnot
Personally i think what they did in sun and moon and journeys is really good. Top 2 series imo. But people dont see that because they couldnt accept the art style change and theres also the fact that each of these series are about 150 episodes long
But i think more people should at least acknowledge them, if not watch them
I don't think it's the art style change is what bore viewers off because the show already declined popularity in the west right at the voice actor change was around in the mid 2000s I guess and man it was divisive. I have an additional theory why. At that same time period, fans who have experienced pokemania have grown up already and it was the advent of popular shonen series like Naruto and Bleach blowing up in the west. Grown up western fans have moved on from Pokemon because they grew out of its fundamentally outdated writing structure. Episodic and childish monster of the day formula Pokemon has was proven to be an inferior norm compared to long serious character centric arcs. The jankiness of dubs and that they still have to censor things for the little kids alienating older viewers. And the fact that the anime never really grew up with its audience by not letting Ash age or in fact the art style has always been childish and goofy at least compared to Naruto and Bleach's sharper and more serious art styles that appeals more to preteens and teens. I only have my observations why and this is not a true story by any means. And although S/M and Journeys changed things up, at its core its still just an episodic light hearted kids show with a writing structure that is left to be innovated.
Im very happy that Ash got to achieve his dream of being a pokemon master and they can now move on to new characters! It was very much needed at this point
This will be the end of an era. I’ve haven’t watched Pokémon for years but I’m still feeling emotional over this news.
I might finally picked the anime back up after all these years. The last I watched it hard core was around Johto too, I’ve watched bits and pieces of XY sun & moon. I finally am watching journeys knowing it’s Ash’s farewell season
It's coming to an end. I didn't think it would happen and yet, here we are. This is so surreal.
Chibi did you catch that they also played the english theme in the Japanese trailer, that part got me 😢
I grew with Pokemon. Happy to know Ash become the Pokemon Master and that his journey has ended.
So it's as you said. Both sad and good
I haven't watched the series in a long time, but I do still have both a love and respect for Pokemon as a whole. I'd still play the games if I had a switch lol. While he will be replaced as a protag, I'm in agreement that ultimately it's probably for the best and will allow the team creating the series a bit more freedom in the long term, as pokemon as a creation probably isn't ever going to really die. It's a series that could exist for ages if we're being honesy. The fans themselves are also always developing a great deal of amazing content by making their own regions, pokemon, and gym leaders.
It's weird to say but I'm kinda happy that Ash got his journey, even if it is ending now. Idk if I'll watch a new Pokemon anime but even so it's nice to see the series still doing it's thing after all these years.
NO, I DONT WANT THAT! ASH BEING REPLACE!? I WANT HIM TO BE THE MAIN CHARACTER. EVEN AFTER I DIE I WANT ASH GO BE THE MAIN CHARACTER FOR 10 YEARS AT LEAST!!
Let the joke and the series die bruh
*"Wow... I've never heard of something so pathetic"*
Man Eren simping for Mikasa now simping for Ash. How low can you get?
Even though it’s a good thing this is a sad and yet big moment for Pokémon. All of us has been with Ash from the beginning and to finally see is journey concludes like this is just great to see. What a journey this has been for Ash and I’m looking forward to see this new era of Pokémon
Well I guess Ash can FINALLY age up now considering he's the world champion now. I've never been a big Pokemon fan (maybe the last series I've seen was Diamond and Pearl) but I can see how emotional this must be for die hard fans of the series considering Ash's journey has been going on for 25 freaking years. For new generations, this new Pokemon series might be the perfect way to introduce the series for them if done right.
Damn, I feel super old knowing that Ash's Journey is over. I hope the new MCs doesn't get hate because we all know they're going to be compared to Ash.
As long as they are relatable they will grow on people
The end of an era for sure. Ash has been a constant in my life since I was born so it's gonna be weird not seeing him even if I don't watch each and every pokemon episode.
Makes me wonder how I'll feel when stuff like One piece, Dragon Ball, etc will actually end.
Its been talked about for years but I never thought they would actually do it
it really is the end of an era
Was waiting for this video!
sigh im crying
Its about time... I hope thay make the story make sense this time around.
about bloody time I think :D
Good you stated that you didn’t watch the anime because ash was already a champion before he became world champion; it was even stated that his not a Pokémon master yet and was even asked by Gary Oak “what are you gonna do now to become a Pokémon master”. Well it’ll be good seeing Ash as an official Pokémon master in this series.
PS: I feel the girl will go on the titan challenges and the boy will go on Champion challenges. Then they’ll both handle team star together. Will also be great to see Nemona and Arven in the show.
I Think there will be last 11 episodes with Ash (Ultimate journeys) as like conclusion to his story and it will air in the winter anime season
She looks so cool. I can’t wait for the new series
4:20 Chibi: I think it is the other way around. The games "reinvented" themselves with an open world recently, and they are trying to have a paralelism in the anime to show that.
It's the end of an era and so sad for this to end. i hope they will give him an epic sendoff of his journey...
This is shocking news its been so many years since I've watched pokemon, Wonder what will happen to team rocket they're just as iconic as ash.
I'm still 3 or 4 seasons behind I gotta catch up next year
Even tho I haven't watched sense xy I watched ashes battles in the masters 8 but it was my childhood so it's sad started wit dp watched the old on boomerang grew out of it with xy watched ash become a champion of the world and I'll stick around to see it's send off pokemon and it's anime has been such a big part of my life I have to see the end of ashes journey and even if I think it's makes little sense marketing wise I think it's good that ash can finally be a pokemon master
This is good I mean 25 years with ash is a long time I'm excited whatever we get
I believe that it’s a good idea to have new main characters for the Pokémon anime aside from Ash and Pikachu. However, I would love it if the continuity remains the same and if we get OVAs and movies surrounding Ash, Ash’s travelling companions (ex. Serena, Misty, Brock, etc.), and Ash’s rivals (ex. Paul, Alain, Gary, etc.)
Time for me to finally binge the entire series. Haven't watched a single episode after indigo league just so I could watch the entire series when it finally ends.
Ash has literally become Red for the anime world. Can't wait to see him as the final boss
Well it's official. 2022 is the end of the era of the 90s .... Farewell Ash Ketchum ..as the narrator always says at the end of the region, next time... A new beginning 🫡🫡🫡🫡😢😢😢
Ash winning honestly makes me sad even tho I don't watch the series anymore 😭. But it is definitely a good thing considering his og fans are probably parents now and he's (ash) is still a kid 😆
We will miss you Ash and Pikachu!
Been asking for this. Good for them to move on
Wow, I never even considered that could be possible.
I've never been a massive fan of Pokemon, but even I think of Ash and Pikachu as iconic characters.
Welp time to watch the 11 eps Ash's and Pikachu departure season in January. Hopefully I wont cry
Well is honest the best thing that can happen to Pokemon, the characters need to progress to make a really meaningful story.
Honest will be great to see cameos about other people talking about the new world champion or the Pokemon master Satoru\Ash
End of a journey oh boy it’s gonna be a bit tough to move forward
I'm getting emotional man...Ash, Pikachu, and the rest of the characters he's met throughout his journey will be going away, they were a huge part of my childhood. Yes I agree it's a good thing the series is moving on but still...well it's been an amazing journey that's for sure but all good things must come to an end
Wait what? Is this the signal of the change of an era just like what happened when Whitebeard died.
When they announced this I started breaking down
The only 10 year old with 25 years of experience, this is a sad day for us all. RIP to our childhood
Still think they should have animated adventures after this. Oh well. I’ll miss you Ash.
Anyone who has watched the Pokémon anime semi frequently and is caught up with it will 100% agree that this is the best decision. The people saying this is a bad change are the people who have never watched the anime.
In the message they said that we will see glimpses into the Ash future and that's what I like to see (January 23 2023). What I realize 10 sec after that is that all the "ships" are now at DEFCON 1 to see if there are "ship" have won.
They might keep that tidbit a secret.
@@zacharybartolo5111 True. But I hope they end the episode with Ash saying he is going to take a hike to the Mt. Silver.
I think this is why JoJo's is so special. I wish more anime would adapt a passing of the torch.
When he said 25 years it hit me like a sledgehammer.
I'll loved to see Ash in one future ep. where he is a 25 year old young adult, with the actitud of a master ready to battle.
Wow that just feels unreal
Ash finally turns 11. Most eventful single year any 10 year old has ever had
Isn't he still 10 ?
@@HackerMan1010 he could be 11 already for all I know. Just a joke about how little progress was made in a 25 year period :p
It’s sad growing up with Pokémon ash and pikachu it will be cool to see how the new show goes 😎
I'd wish that they'll still show ash's journey from time to time
1:34 Nika Nanaura and Guel Jeturk as new protagonists of Pokemon after succeeding Ash Ketchum.
Even after all this year. Ash still never age at all.
Didn't TV Tokyo executive said that Satoshi's journey will be continuing in future?
Anyways it would be cool to see different protagonist in upcoming gens.
