Even though SoI is not the cleanest performance (as Chris said in the Garcia interview I think, "unfairly written parts") I've ever heard it's still my fav show by far. Maybe it's cause it's my fav band of all time, but I've never had such an urge to headbang. It's not just the heavy breakdowns or chuggs though, it's also the epic moments and melodic parts. The crowd was literally louder than Ben at the beginning of Malediction, all I heard was 500 ish people screaming "MALEDICTIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON".
I’m in total agreement with you. So I saw them on the tour earlier this year with Lorna Shore, and had never heard of them previously. But as soon as they played their opening 2 songs, I was literally instantly HOOKED. Their entire set I was going crazy lmao. They became one of my favorite bands from that show on, and I’ve had them on repeat for the past 7 months🤘
