I just bought a property with half an aver and want to do something similar with a privacy hedge instead of a wood fence. I have green arborvitae someone planted in the way back of my property and several boxwood with good growth to do cuttings on.
Yes, if undisturbed by pruning, but since the hedges are constantly kept at a certain height, when they start flowing they are chocked by pruning and reluctant to flower.
