Convertible laptops have come such a long way that they're basically a laptop with an extra form. Foldable phones will be like this soon in the future, it'll be another choice without much compromises 🙌🏾

@@rayrayballer1 i would say the newer 12th Gen intel i7 models would be able to handle that... I have the 10th gen i5 and that is not very powerful. My recommendation would be the 15 inch hp envy with 12th gen i7.

@@rayrayballer1 wouldnt recommend a laptop for streaming but if its extremely necessary and you have lots of cash to spend id recommend Asus ROG Zephyrus S17
The Surface Laptop Studio was really good, I hope Samsung adopts this form factor.
I've had and loved every Dragonfly and hope to get this one on order soon. As for "tent mode", the best use I have is watching shows on the couch laying down. You want the base off the couch for best airflow.

Nice to see this form factor is taking off! I love my Surface Laptop Studio for the combination of angles you can use it from. This would be great as a lighter-weight, less powerful alternative.
Exactly same thoughts I had. I really like my laptop studio, although it's a bit too heavy (reason why I picked the 3050 ti version, which justyfies the weight. very good heat dissipation 👌🏻👌🏻)
The Laptop Studio is without a doubt in my mind the best laptop on the market right now. I use it every day and have found myself using all the screen angles on multiple occasions and it pairs so well with the office toolset. 10/10 device
@@NorseNoahJ I just wish it had better specs. Formal factor wise it's by far the best laptop. It's does 2in1 with the only compromise being the price and the weight. No compromise on it being a good laptop, no compromise on it being a windows tablet

I've watched a lot of these Dragonfly reviews, but this is the 1st one that's showing how the pen has a little doohicky that pops out as you mount it for charging & I believe it's the 1st one I've seen that shows you can flip the screen all the way over like the Surface Studio. Subscribing

When laptop manufacturers design the screen portion to be completely removable and give it a battery that would last 6-7 hours without the keyboard and 13-15 hours with the keyboard attached. That would make this laptop perfect

I would love to trade my HP EliteBook x360, the Dragonfly Folio's convertible design is an improvement IMHO. As for the tent orientation, I use that a lot of the time, particularly at home and offices where the laptop is docked and I use an external keyboard and mouse. Then I can still get to the screen to use the pen.
Perfect for those of us who are mobile, primarily use office apps and have lightweight video editing needs.

Convertible "laptops" used to just be underpowered tablets with a keyboard attached and when you folded them into tablet form the keyboard would annoyingly be on the back of the device. They've come a long way to actually being quite powerful, portable, and viable machines that you can actually call a laptop instead of an overpriced tablet
I had one if those back in the days. They were marketed as tablets with windows operative systems. I LOVED mine while in use. I could put it in a purse and being able to work on actual uni proyects.
My surface laptop studio kills it!

I'm definitely not a fan of convertibles, or any kind of touching devices for that matter, but this thing really looks like a well thought out package overall... The keyboard, nice camera/mic/speakers, tiny and lightweight with 12th gen.. kinda everything I'm looking for.. Except it's not meant for my kind of workflow :/

Oh this is HP’s take on Surface Laptop Studio! I like how the base is slim unlike the Surface’s. Microsoft really needs to work hard to improve their next version.
I kinda prefer the Surface Laptop Studio. It doesn't seem to be much better featurewise, and the Surface also has the best Pen storage solution
Also, you can get the 3050 ti version for less than the starting price of the HP
@@piereligiodisante i have the surface laptop studio with the 3050ti. Its pretty good and the price is much cheaper than how much i spent on my surface book 2 with gtx 1060.

Quite nice. I do like convertibles but most don't have dedicated GPUs for the heavy productivity use. Video/3d editing, photoshop, music production etc.
