Wekiva Springs State Park, in Longwood-fun hot springs- and connected to the river to kayake, among alligators- we lived on Riverbend Blvd, off of Wekiva Springs Road and it’s fun pretty much anywhere in Florida. where you know there are alligators at night- use a flashlight & flash out over the water and you can see the orange alligator eyes looking back at you. It’s pretty cool

Robert is here fruit stand was there when I was a lil kiddo in elementary school and im 63 years old. It was literally in the middle of nowheresville back then, just in the middle of some mango groves on Chrome Avenue. It was our Sunday after church stop on our way home from church. Without doubt it is and always has been the BEST place to get a fruit milkshake anywhere, bar none! We would go out to the U-Pick strawberry fields and pick an entire pick up truck load of strawberries to take to Robert is Here fruit stand every Saturday during strawberry season just to get the Strawberry milkshake. Oh I'm sure my Dad got paid for the truckload of berries but lil kids didn't much care about that when it was sweltering hot outside and we were thirsty lil critters. Growing up so close to the Eastern edge of the Everglades was the best part of having access to the wilder parts of Dade County at the time. Very little of the places I grew up playing in that was wild untouched land exists these days because the city has expanded into what was wild untouched land where we hunted and recreated on weekends. Love your videos and I hope you continue to post more. It's been awesome watching both babies grow up to where they are today. It's wonderful watching them see new things and their enthusiasm for the new things they are seeing. Happy trails and safe travels too!

I finally got a chance to watch this one, and I was so excited that you included Weeki Wachee!! We own a vacation rental on the canals off the Weeki Wachee River, and we just love it!!

You mentioned a lot of our favorites. But you need to tube the Rainbow River instead. Go back with the entire family and swim with manatees in 3 Sisters State Park in Crystal River and camp in Salt Springs Recreation Area. You can also rent a boat to get out in the St John’s river. Come during the summer and add scalloping and the Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park in Homosassa FL as well. We love our Florida home, but we enjoy visiting your TN too. ❤

They have nice parks in Florida. Beautiful with the manatees. The beaches look beautiful.

So cool the movie about the dolphin that lost its tail was filmed in Florida. A Dolphins Tail. That was a great movie. I cried with that one. So glad you surpassed going by alligator ally. Love looking at the nature there in Florida. Nice trail and to go biking on the trail. What were the chances a boat breaking down going to an island. Glad you made it there and back. I went through St. Augustine in 1975, on our way to Marathon Key from Myrtle Beach AFB. I was 15 years old at the time. While in St. Augustine we went through Gatorland.

Great video, but the photo of Marissa in Juniper Springs while expecting is such a beautiful image, colors are amazing! If Hensley loves animals, there is a KOA in Loxahatchee FL at Lion Country Safari. Early morning wake up and you can hear the lions roaring, cool experience!

Thanks for reminding me why I live in this awesome city of St. Augustine. With work and life in general you tend to forget the beautiful parts of where you live. Awesome video showcasing cool things Florida has to offer. Only thing as a Floridian I would add to this is the bioluminescence tours by Bk Adventure in Titusville at Port Canaveral, it’s amazing.

I had a flaming marshmallow land on me. It was not fun. I was 11 years old. My cousin had a marshmallow on fire and waved it around to put it out and it landed on my arm while on fire. Since it's sticky when it's melted I couldn't brush it off. My mom had to run over with a stick and scrape it off. Had 3rd degree burns on my arm. I'm 40 years old and still have a scar 😢

What about alligators in all those springs?
There aren’t many in the springs- and they would be very easy to spot from a distance in crystal clear water.
Florida, great place to visit in the winter but never make the big mistake of owning property their. Rent first if your that serious.

Glad they are finely letting residents have first crack at the state park sites. As a resident it was so hard to compete with all of America for our state parks.
Same happens in NH.
Yes state resident should get first dibs!
