I think they did a great job adapting this specific Leon to be in RE4R. He pretends to be rough and gruff, but that wholesome light hearted recruit is still in him.
Fun fact: In the scene where Ada falls, the director told Nick (Leon’s VA and Mocap) to say “I love you” everytime after each line. With each say, he was able to convey more and more emotion into an honestly heartbreaking scene. It just comes to show just how steller the voice cast was in this game and how passionate they were about their roles
Close, they were saying “Tell Me You Love Me” Nick Apostolides said that was one of many incredible ways his acting coach got him to get the specific type of interaction needed for each scene!
Thanks for this post VG moments, RE2 might not have as much action as RE4 remake, but it sure tells the best story; loss (Kendo’s Daughter), selflessness (Marvin final words - ‘We can’t let this thing spread), courage (Kendo having to put her own daughter to rest), resilience (Leon finally escapes from Raccoon despite the odds).
Why couldn’t they put his RPD outfit from RE2make into RE4make? They did that with the original, and I don’t think it would’ve been hard to port that over, considering both games use the same engine.
I didn't like the re 2 story mode they could have just made separate story lines for both instead of replacing leon with claire or claire with leon. is capcom trying to create a multiverse of resident evil or what if from claire timeline or leon timeline

rpd outfit is actually present in the re4make, to unlock it you have to play mercenaries mode and obtain an s+ rank on every map with every character
