  • Hello again everyone! I figured this video would help because I've gotten a few questions from people who do not know the difference between going to school for their degree in medical assisting or their certificate. I hope this video did help some. Thank you for watching and your support!

    Thank you ! I got my degree in 2003 . I raise my 3 girls with a medical assistant salary and I’m super thankful for accomplishing my goals . I’m a single mom and things were hard . I recommend everyone to get a degree vs diploma because you can always be a part time instructor in any vocational school . Good luck everyone 🥰

    Hi, I love your videos. I am a (NHA CCMA, NHA Phlebotomy Technician, NHA EKG Technician) Clinical Certified Medical Assistant in NY since 2019. Every two years you have to re-certify and study class materials and choose what to study. It requires you to take test modules (20) questions per module and the lowest score you can get is 70% to pass. Most modules are usually 1 to 2 credits each. You need a total of 10 completed credits to re-certify. All your information is accurate, I just added what I had to do in order to maintain my certifications. God bless you.

      Dont take MA degree, its as useless as gender studies, a certification is much better more hands on experience (which you need the most), much faster and in the end both MA degree and diploma will get same certification. If you want a degree go for nursing!!

    • @diamondnreallife3207
      @diamondnreallife3207  Před 2 lety

      @@rociolazo5675 great question! No you don’t have to retake the whole exam (thank goodness). Basically they give you 3 sections (you pay for each, about $20 each) then each section has an article about 8-9 pages and short quizzes. The answers to the quizzes are all in the article. And you move at your own time, there’s no time limit ( of course it has to be done before expiration date) When you pass the quizzes then they will renew your certification and email you an
      E-Certificate (additional payment is required for physical copy of it) But, don’t worry about not passing, it’s extremely easy and again the answers are in the passage. 💪🏽

      There’s no such thing as “waste” when it comes to time and learning a skill. Everything happens exactly when it’s supposed to happen. That’s the importance of “going with the flow of life”. And FYI, i will be graduating nursing school this year in December. So there was no waste.
