In 1967 I drove by the southern portal of the road to Telluride and there was a crude handwritten sign that said, “You don’t have to be crazy to drive this road, but it helps.” Driving a sports car at the time, wisely, I didn’t make the turn. Now, I got to see what they meant. Thank you for taking the extra time to film this adventure.
I would rate this easy. all you need is high-clearance 4x4, with good tires is the key to get over and out of difficult situations, and basic tools to fix something small.

July 3rd week, 2023. We were surprised to see so much snow on the trails. it was lot of fun.
