They portray the characters so well, you can already feel years and years of petty envy and hatred between these two neighbours, I never seen so much backstory shown in just 5 mins. Big props to Cecily Strong and Kristen Wiig, they have true chemistry

I think I'm addicted to this skit. I have watched it several times since I first saw it a few weeks ago. I've seen it twice this morning lol. Not only is it super catchy and funny but it somehow makes me feel my life is more normal than I thought.

This is the absolute BEST acting I've ever seen on SNL, and have to say while Wiig is her usual killer self, Strong should use this sketch to get into the movies. It was simply unbelievably good!
I could not agree more. This sketch alone tells us that Cecily Strong could *easily* become the kind of Bill Murray / Tom Hanks / Melissa McCarthy / Robin Williams kind of actor who transitions seamlessly from comedy into drama. All of her subtext (and backstory) is crystal clear and so deeply developed. And she makes the TINIEST choices that say SO MUCH. She's freaking brilliant.
I feel like 90% of this was improvised- I laughed sooo hard 😂😂
