If you’re looking for DIY industrial furniture design ideas, and want to see how to build an industrial end table, this video is for you. Industrial interior design: What Is It? The industrial home design style incorporates exposed architectural materials including metal, wood, pipes, brick, and concrete, as well as the minimalist design philosophy, and was inspired by renovated factories from the Industrial Revolution. Old factories and other industrial buildings that have recently been transformed into lofts and other living spaces are the inspiration for the aesthetic movement known as industrial style, sometimes known as industrial chic.
In this video, I am making another industrial-style end table from steel and wood. This end table nightstand evokes a modern farmhouse style with its unique design. Dark Walnut wood stain has a neutral tone to complement any shade of sofa or furniture. The top serves as a great functional space. The design is relatively complex to build since not all the welding areas are accessible for the angle grinder. Could be shaped with Dremel-like tools but I had no one accessible at the moment so I decided to not weld such areas and use car body filler to close gaps between tubes.
If you're a fan of industrial style furniture, and have wanted to make the furniture in your home more industrial-looking, it's easier than you think. Industrial furniture not only has a cool and chic industrial look that gives your home a unique factory vibe, but you can also build industrial furniture by yourself from simple, reclaimed materials, adding your own personal style to your decor. Weathered wood, metal, exposed brick, commercial lighting fixtures, and concrete are examples of elements of industrial design. The late 2000s saw the rise of this aesthetic, which persisted throughout the 2010s until now. In the usage of unusual building materials, industrial style can be seen. Construction of homes and businesses now makes use of shipping containers. Urban settings, like as cities and lofts, are the most typical locations for the Industrial style of architecture. These are desirable areas because they offer almost a blank slate for homeowners to start again.
The main components of this design style are also present in these areas, such as exposed bricks and pipes, concrete floors, and big, open windows. This style of design aims to create a "warehouse" feeling in the room, and these components help achieve that. This design uses raw materials to give the room a feeling of being unfinished.

    • what is industrial design?
Industrial interior design focuses on exposing the construction components that many people strive to hide. It's about giving even the most well-planned homes a rough, unfinished appearance. It involves choosing items that emphasize both utility and style. The topic of today's post is industrial interior design, a developing trend. Industrial design features neutral tones, practical products, and wood and metal surfaces and is used in loft apartments, contemporary residences, and commercial spaces all around the world.
As a result, a "warehouse appearance" is created, fusing an authentically industrial vibe with a variety of other styles, from rustic to sophisticated. This style can be used in finished rooms as well. In fact, by including elements like stainless steel surfaces, metal light fixtures, and vintage furniture in their houses, many design enthusiasts who appreciate upmarket interiors are adopting the industrial style.

Keep up the good work. ❤❤
But please use an industrial pair of gloves. Some tiny metal particles can get through your skin thus to the blood. Long time exposure can lead to very bad physical issues in future. Stay blessed!

Shielded metal arc welding or simply stick welding. As far as I know, this is the oldest and most widely used welding.

I must agree love how it came out. But I’d like to give you a constructive criticism please cover your skin because ultra violet emitting rays can cause cancer. UV Radiation in Welding
Operators in the metal fabrication industry are exposed to a range of hazardous conditions every day because of their line of work. One of the most prevalent and concerning hazardous is a bi-product of electric arc and laser welding known as ultraviolet radiation (UV). As the UV radiation reflects off hard and smooth surfaces this can cause sunburn, eye damage, cataracts, ocular melanoma, and skin cancer. Keep, safe safe my friend.
