It was likely injured when another female stole it away from its mother. It’s likely covered with the scent of the kidnapping female so it like be unlikely the real mother will be able to find it again. Eventually the kidnapper will ditch it if it fights it too much and eventually realizes it doesn’t have the ability to nurse it. These parks have a habit of sterilizing females without taking rank into consideration and the lower ranking females will have their infants stolen by a higher ranking sterile female knowing that females with infants get more goodies from tourists to these parks.

There was nothing wrong with his arm. He was just walking around on his hind legs, complaining because mom is weaning him. He couldn't make that climb up that rock face, at the end of the video, if he had an injured arm. Or that jump up to his mom, whom the VO keeps just out of the camera shot, on purpose, to make the baby look like he's "lost his mother." She was right there, the whole time. Just not carrying him, so he's upset. He'll get over it. They always do. 😌

Usually another relative takes them in when something happens to their mom. That one on the rock never pushed her away. It would have been nice for the next video of this baby searching and hopefully finding it's mom. At least so we know what happened.

@@maximasromulus2806 That was a MALE macaque on the rocks ...this little one never encountered its mother in this vid and the higher the mothers status, the better the baby is taken care of (eat 1st, play first, protected and cared for by many...ect.) , the baby of a high ranking female has a higher social status than almost ALL of the troop the very second its born. So NO this baby does not at all have a mother who is "bigger and stronger" than the females and has the strength and/or status to "castrate" the adult male macaques. Btw even macaques who live in a very cold climate do not walk or do anything for that matter with fewer limbs to "avoid exposure to the damp ground" lol please stop telling people things that you aren't SURE are true. The monkey did in fact use both arms to climb but that doesn't mean it's not damaged because the arm(s) along with its tail is absolutely not 100percent macaques use all limbs all the time to move around, cold or not. It even winces in pain when the juvenile came to check out why he/she was crying. It's just not cool to try to "educate " others in something your not well versed in. That's all no big deal ✌🏾

Chances are if this little guy is really orphaned, he may be dead now. And in China, where this is recorded, they have a monkey overpopulation problem. The government sterilizes female macaques to try and keep the population down. If this baby is orphaned, taking him to a vet may get him euthanized. Just my opinion though.

Pewnie rozwiązaniem byłoby stworzenie dla małpek czegoś na wzór rezerwatu, gdzie mogłyby trafiać samotne maluchy lub "odchowane", żeby nie wyrzucać do lasu, gdzie po takim czasie życia w domu w lesie się nie przystosują lub zostaną zabite.
"Rezerwat", czyli nadal miałyby opiekę, a jednocześnie naturę, swobodę, imitację życia na wolności..

Considering every single one of these things is overweight to some degree, most being grossly obese, they are NOT starving. Don't feed them because all you're doing is creating even more of a problem animal than they already are.

@@vixxenreigns 100%. Sad that the food they share with these things could really help some unfortunate people. And human intervention, (in my opinion), has ruined this species on many levels.
@@KRCM1 a lot of those starving people are starving and impoverished because of these macaques destroying their crops, homes and businesses. And they will go through a crop and take a bite or two and toss the rest, wasting the food the farmers depended on. People in Lopburi, Thailand have to live with cages around their homes to keep the macaques out. The macaques break into houses and urinate and defecate everywhere which makes the home a biohazard because they carry several potentially fatal diseases. It's just a bad situation and I feel so sorry for the people having to deal with them.

monkeys are wild animals. many species are overpopulated and considered vermin. they are destructive, dirty and violent. they destroy crops, attack pets and carry disease.
This video filmed on a mobile or cellphone looks as if it's filmed in the Monkey sanctuary in North China. Iirc these are snow monkeys and are protected. However they do get into a number of fights and situations that causes injuries. 20% of babies die in the first 6 months from accidents malnutrition or infections. This increases to 32% after 6 months as the babies become more independent from their mothers.
