I love it so much. Amazed at the silence at highway speeds with the top closed. Amazing engineering by Mercedes Benz here. I hope they keep the E convertible in the future.
Damn that Blue Magno looks amazing in the convertible! I ordered my coupe here in the US but was worried about paint maintenance so went with Selenite Gray. This car looks beautiful though!
This is the first review that gave me insight in the windnoises when driving fast. Only question that remains is how much higher can you lift the car with the lift button compared to the non AMG E Class.
PLEASE PLEASE do the Panamera 4 base version with AWD review.

Facelift for the front wasn't a good idea.
ArgoBeats yeah...especially for the coupe version.
I'm gonna be completely honest; in the convertible form with these tail lights its grown on me a lot. Although I'm usually a BMW fan I highly dislike the new 4 series front a lot more.
This sounds much better than BMW's I6
I currently drive the E-Class Cabriolet pre-face lift and although I absolutely love the satin blue paint I really don’t think it’s worth an “upgrade” to this version as it’s basically the same car... In my opinion it’s like upgrading your iPhone to the S model, you may as well wait for the fully new version a year later.
And not to mention this new version has no analog clock in the interior and the tail lights have been replaced with individual LEDs rather than glittering LEDs... AND not to mention that it is probably better for the environment not to change your car so often.... Just saying! 😎

Facelifts aren't really there to make current customers upgrade - it's mostly to keep it interesting for new customers. Perhaps to get current customers to still find it interesting when their lease goes out.
They are nice. But even my e550a is pointless in Central Valley California. We are just too crowded for a very rapid car. It accelerates so fast that either traffic or road safety limits are almost instantaneous. Fun, but so fast you almost don't notice, because safety becomes an immediate issue. The less powerful version is fine.
As for cabriolet, except for the special moment, it quickly becomes a nice small car that will not carry three men comfortably.

@25:00 did the fake motor sound really cut out to allow for the beep-beep??? These two things sum up what I hate about modern German cars: CONSTANT beeping/dinging/whooping and fake exhaust sound system

Steering weel doesn‘t look user friendly
They reserve the v8 for the sedan because after a e 63s coupe would exist nobody would by the s63 coupe.

Reality:. 10 year old Mustang.
E53 Cabriolet is still a $100,000 car, doesn’t fall that far from the S63 cabriolet.

In reality the 53 is faster and handles better then the 63. The mileage doesn’t force you to refuel and it saves time by longer ranges as well as less mass to keep on track. Less Weight is key! The in-line 6 is much better design then the way too complex V8…

Impressive even though I am not a fan of convertible saloons...but the satin finish paint is awful...impossible to repair, hard to maintain and it looks dreadful. Still, with a different colour, that sounds like a very, very nice car.😀

Stay away from Mercedes, I've leased an E-coupe and not even 5 months yet the whole dashboard is falling apart, making weird scratching / rattling noise, I've taken it to dealership twice first time they claimed a spring was loose inside where A-pillar meets the front of the car (lol, in a new $70,000.00 car) and that they fixed it, took the car home noise came back in a week, took it back they said they hear the noise but can't figure it out. can't wait for the lease to be over and go to a different manufacturer, save your money and go somewhere else, huge disappointment.

Heavily dislike everything getting touchbuttons. It looks cheap, no quality, no haptical feel. You get fingerprints everywhere and it always looks dirty. There is literally no single reason from a quality or customer standpoint to have touch buttons. If you have a button, just use a real one. Sad so called "luxury" brands cheap out on this. The steering wheel in general is very ugly. No proper leather seats. E-class AMG, what a joke...
Also a screen for gauges that is reflective, what are they thinking? Don't they have a Verification and Validation division? Do these people even drive their own cars...
Maybe they should move away from making everything control like smartphone. It does not make sense in most cases.

In general, depending on the animal skin grade, the animals are specifically raised for this matter. However even if meat would be the reason no.1 in other cases, the hide remains one of the most profitable body parts. That means: If manufacturers put animal leather in a car and you accept it as a customer, you give your money to an industry that earns money by oppressing humans, animals and destroys the environment, you make them more profitable. Also, if you turn the argument around "meat is the waste of the leather industry" you realize how biased the argument is. After all, would you care for which body part you would murdered? Or imagine someone robs you on the street and beats you to death - would it matter to you if it was for your Smartphone or for your purse?
The animal agriculture industry occupies 2/3 of all farm land on this planet which cannot be used for direct human nutrition then. That is extremely inefficient. The no.1 cause for deforestation is the animal industry. It is also one of the biggest contributor to climate change. The amount of land, resources, energy and water being used is beyond imagination.
For the alternative, you can either use artificial fabrics which can be made from recyclables (we have already shown a lot of vehicles that use great fabric seats from PET-bottles etc.) or more and more also from plant-based materials (like Pinatex). And even if you would create a seat completely with petroleum without a recycling share, the amount of oil being used for that is nothing in comparing just to once fueling up your car.
In practical reasons, fabric or microfibre seats are just more useful. You do not sweat in summer and it is not cold in winter.
Not using animal skin on seats is a major issue of animal rights, human rights - and after all just of common sense what is better both for the environment and just more practical and more luxurious for the customer. We cannot change what we have bought in the past (that also counts for ourselves of course!), but with more information and compassion we can change how we decide in the future.
Check with Rolls royce , Bentley, all luxury shoe makers, or cloths. People are very hypocrites. Regarding CZcams becomes a mass controlled brand restricted and very unpleasant with the direction are going. Regarding your " recommendation " is strict personal and you don't need to interfere with people choice. If I want leather seats I buy leather !!!!
