It always bothered me that the beat on "Jason (48 Months Interlude)" was only used for 2 skits on the album. I love that beat and it deserved some bars.

Great interview. X is underrated in my opinion. His first album is classic to me. I also worked with someone from Loud Records and she echoed X sentiment. By the end of the Loud late nineties run, which was around the time of Aftermath blowing up, they had limited resources, which is why the Dwellas last record was slept on, another classic. That said X has that street cred of being a Loud artist forever. He'd probably rather have a few more plaques tho.
