I miss this damn website so, so, so much. I don't understand why they got rid of it and won't bring anything like it back. Bearville was literally my entire childhood. I never stopped playing it, and if they still had it, I'd still play it honestly. It was so underrated and under appreciated. They should bring it back.
Bearville was meant to encourage users to buy more bears in the dtores, and more clothes and products. The cost of Bearville probably reached a point where it was no longer profitable. Most kids these days play more on mobile apps or steam games and I feel every other browser based mmo from that Era has closed its doors

This video brought back so many memories it almost made me tear up. 🥺 I was a member of Bearville from 2008 til the very last day, March 31st 2015. I remember the moment the servers were shut down. I was so lost, I was 15 years old, suffered from terrible anxiety and had no friends at school. I didn't know what I was going to do with my life when Bearville closed down. I spent every waking moment that I could on this website, it was my entire life. I made so many friends on Bearville and I even still talk to one of them to this very day, I reunited with her last year! This website has such bittersweet memories for me, it was the hardest time of my life but Bearville was the one thing that never failed to bring me joy in such a dark time of my life. Last year I found out that some awesome people have been creating a Bearville Rewritten and although I'm not going to be spending my entire life on it like I used to, as I've finally found happiness (and love!), I'm so excited to be able to go back on this amazing virtual world. SandyDivaBear11 can return 💗
my cousin and i used to spend hundreds of hours playing this game together while we talked on the phone, so many memories of items i collected & friends i made and of course the iconic mini games! Build-a-Bear-Ville will forever be missed 🥺🖤

soooo nostalgic!! I loved this game so much I would probably play it if it were still up. I remember at the gym/ sports area I made it a point to only check the the things I actually did on the nutrition chart like I knew full well I could check them all and get more money but I never did because I'm too pure of a child. There was also an Easter Island location around spring time I think

Does anyone remember those cool glasses the coool players had I think they were like bunny glasses and I tried so hard to trade them but no one would want it and take it out when I tried to equip it hahaha

Apparently there is a small team of fans of Bearville who are trying to make a rewritten version of this game (kinda like toontown rewritten) to revive it and allegedly they are gonna release the full game this year if it all goes smoothly. As of now there is a demo where you can play some of the mini games but the full game is not released yet.

They absolutely don’t make games like this anymore because this game was made on adobe flash and adobe flash is dead now.
