This Act is Charitable and Hindu religious instiutions Act. That being the case this Act applies to all charitable institutions (Hence nizams charitable trust is under the act). So there is no meaning to argue that this act encompasses only Hindus) . Where as in TAMILNADU it is Hindu religious and charitable institutions Act. Thus there is some subtle difference between the Acts though our the then Ap in 1966 for the first time when wanted to have our own Act as there was Ecclesiastical department in Hyderabad state or to say Nizan state (controlling all religious and charitable institutions) To appease the muslim and other minorities the Act was enacted to have control over Charitable institutions belonging to other religions .Thus leaving religious institutions like masjids and churches to the boards of those respective religions. For the last 1000 years Muslims and Christians had a say in every aspect. For the first time in 1861 the British Government had given away the control over temples to Hindus as far as Hindu temples especially in South India. From 1933 on wards when the Trusts of the temples were misusing the properties MADRAS Government intervened by passing 1933 Act. This was especially keeping in view the TTDS where the VICHARANAKARTHAS were misusing the properties of temples. The Hathiramji mutt Mohants used to be the Vicharanakarthas of TTDS. This arrangement was there right from SEVADOSS in 1844 till Prayagdass(1933).
So when there were motor vehicles majority of the Drivers were muslims. So there was no other go except to engage the sevices of Muslims. After Independence the Schedule caste people were attracted towards Christianity. On paper they are Scheduled caste employes but actually they used to go to churches. Hindus go to Dargas (SHIRDI SAMSTAN). That being the case it is very difficult to say which religion one belongs to. Mr. Gogineni is a hindu on paper but He has no religion. Sridhar Garu the employees who are on stay are not Poojaris and they don't know the mantharaloo. But what iam saying is, various legal and constitutional issues are involved in this case and we can’t solve these by debates.
