- This conversation took place one day after Skúli Sverrisson’s group SERIA appeared at KLAENG Festival in Köln in November of 2019. I hope I’ll never forget what I felt when I heard Skúli’s music that night. As I tell him in the beginning of our talk, this concert reminded me what I love about music.
As a longtime fan of Skúli, it was great talk to him about about his work with Allan Holdsworth, Ben Monder, Oskar Gudjonsson, his compositional process, the recording process of his own records and much more. Hope you enjoy our conversation as much as I did.

Wonderful interview, thank you Pablo. The flow of conversation and placement too, is musical and educative. I had the happiness of seeing Skúli with Alan. He brought a new language and dimension. Thanks both for sharing thoughts and images. Never more needed than in this time.
Great interview, thanks so much for sharing it! There isn't much to find online on Skúli discussing his process, particularly coming from an interview with another great musician, so, thanks for that. Quick question: could you share which tracks are heard in the intro and outro of this interview? The closing track sounds like "Amedeo" but I can't make out from which album that version comes from. Sorry for the annoying request, thanks for the interviews and for all the great music!

Great interview Pablo! I also see wide landscapes when I hear Skuli play. I also told this to him when I had some lessons with him. I lived in Sweden for a couple of years as a kid and Skuli's music always brings up memories of my childhood days in Scandinavia, especially wide open landscapes.

this is such a seminar work You're making with this interviews stellar artist have an opportunity to implement us closer to what they do, can't find many oportunities...articles, reviews sometimes has nothing to do with strategies not attached with personel and used gestures.
