Massillon is a sleepy midwestern town with charm and lots of nice people. My parents moved us to Sacramento, CA when I was 15. Never liked CA and vowed I would move back to Massillon someday. 46 years later, here I am in my hometown Massillon again. I will never move away again!
T-I-G...
8 minutes in and he's still driving trying to find a rough neighborhood. 13 minutes of driving and he hasn't found a rough area yet. Better go to East Cleveland. haha. Massillon is a nice town.
I had a bad time there. Just a miserable boring town. Its old dirty and trashy. The air reaked of #2 diesel and burning garbage. Most of the people were jerks.
Lol Massillon isn’t dangerous just drugged up and ignant
🤣🤣🤣
got yo ass 4k running that stop sign at 6:16
That’s where the pre-K school is, at that stop sign… a kid’s memorial is on the electrical pole on the left, there was an accident many years ago… Very disrespectful to run that stop sign. Thank you for paying attention and calling this driver out.
Massillon doesn’t have any actual “rough” neighborhoods. Go to Cleveland if you want “rough” neighborhoods. You have no idea if you think these are rough neighborhoods.
There's nothing rough about most of these neighborhoods unless you're afraid of blue collar workers that look out for each other. It's not the fanciest place, but Massillon is a great city. I can't wait to go back someday.
I'd agree that you don't really have to worry about being murdered or even robbed, but these neighborhoods aren't just blue collar workers that look out for each other. Plenty of degenerates, drug addicts and general assholes lurking around these neighborhoods. To be fair, some if it is spill over from Canton and you will find drug addiction in every city. Massillon is a pretty typical Ohio rust belt shithole that has some charm to it. Very little economic mobility in Massillon unless you are specialized and educated.
It sucks. Has a dirty trashy vibe too it
Right dude have you seen the amount of meth I just moved from the down town area with what I thought would be a good starter home . You got people taking kids. People smoking meth. It’s a white trash shit hole
It’s white trash meth . Call the cops they on the dope too
😂
I enjoy seeing the Ohio neighborhoods..they sure built alot of houses back in 1900. Those old two story houses..
If you take a left instead of a right. Oak Ave, and Cambridge were not rough at all. Lived there 1999-2013
I'd rather live in Massillon than Canton.
Bye boy
Same. I don't live in either, but I avoid Canton like the plague.
Exactly
nice video like
T-I-G
that's my hometown
E-R-S
Mine too 🥰
Thank You. I remember these roads. I'm from Canton
🧐🤔 born and raised in Massillon and nowhere on this video did u drive through a rough neighborhood, u should have went on 16th and in walnut hills, although walnut hills is pretty mellow now because its mostly hispanic folks that live up there. Massillon is pretty boring if u ask me but yes there is crime just like everywhere else. Honestly i would say there are more drug addicts than there is crime, the crime comes from the crackheads stealing yo shit while u at work or sleep🤣
Nice place to grow up as a kid..but limited opportunities to make income..never moving back..the city has rested on its laurels for so long ..so 10 weeks of football every fall is all they got..city has been in a economic doldrum since the 1970s..
I love how all the Massillon homers defend it saying it’s a nice city. It’s the crappiest town I’ve lived in besides Akron. Literally had both mine and my wife’s cars stolen in the middle of the night, then the scum of this town tried saying it didn’t happen. Like yeah, my cars just walked away. Turns out, the gangs of canton are only minutes away and decided to steal our cars. Massillon can’t be nice if gang activity is occurring in the town. We talked to detectives and they literally told us this is super common in Massillon and it’s only getting worse.
All this, and not to mention the piss poor educational system in Massillon. We are selling our house and moving to a city that prides itself on education, rather than sports and being dirtbags.
Sounds like you tried to pull an insurance scam and it didn't go your way. Did you cut the cats before you scrapped your cars? Kyle lets face it, if you was going to move you would have already done it. Enjoy your time in massillon. Go tigers!
@@Kaige64 lmao, the canton police literally found the cars after they were used in gang activity. They were stolen, and your response is literally the exact response I would expect from the lay down and take it mentality of a Massillon native. Not exactly an insurance scam when I lost my dream truck to a gang theft and shooting. It wasn’t even an expensive vehicle but it had both of my toddlers car seats in it. My wife’s vehicle was luckily recovered because we were smart enough to call the onstar people and locate it that way, handing the information over to police. Massillon police weren’t even bright enough to take the initiative to find her car, we had to do the leg work for them.
Just to buy a truck to replace mine my payment is more than double now, so nah, not an insurance scam you dolt.
People from Massillon can’t believe their town is a shit hole.
Unfortunately I’m stuck here until 2025, due to a federal down payment assistance grant that locks you into a property for seven years. I haven’t enjoyed a second of the past five years in this scumbag town, especially since now I have to have security through the nose just to ensure my property won’t be stolen by hoodlums. Cameras, floodlights and plenty of weapons to ensure I can put down any more of these losers as needed.
One thing about Massillon is if you screw someone over their are chances these things happen. Everyone’s sweet to you until you screw then. We aren’t ones to play.
Village tavern is trash so is pauli radtke and her boyfriend Craig stevenson
Hmm. Most of the people I know in Massillon don’t even lock their house doors and never have anything happen….
