When HOMECOMING released last year, we quickly found out that the editing team used footage from both the first weekend and second weekend along with some dubs from rehearsals. I Care was the most vocally challenging song on the setlist and the HOMECOMING edit used all versions in a balanced and perfect way. Since we have the livestream from the first weekend, I thought it'd be nice to see the differences and similarities between the RAW livestream version and the edited HOMECOMING version. EDIT: Many people are commenting that HOMECOMING and COACHELLA are the same thing. Yes, I know that. The purpose of this video is to showcase the differences between the aired COACHELLA footage from W1 and the HOMECOMING's footage from W2. This is why the title says COACHELLA vs Homecoming. They're the same event just different days.

Maybe, but her best vocals are not in studio or televised, they are in concerts, filmed by cellphone on youtube, or without a mic filmed by cellphone too.
What I notice in this is that Beyonce is a legend even the moves that looked so natural was planned and you can tell cuz she hit each que for both performances but made it look natural each time.
Here I'am back again to listen and experience to that ocean of emotions when she sang "Cry" at 2:28 in Weekend1 (Coachella Side in the video). I guess that's the only thing i will never forgive Bey for not giving me when she released Homecoming and the Live Album.

This video proves everything I’ve always said about Beyoncé. Her thing is to plan, rehearse, and execute. It’s like Broadway. It doesn’t matter which night you come, it’s the same show. Each moment has a purpose. What she lacks in raw emotion and random improvisation, she makes up for in exquisite execution of the planned & rehearsed final product.

For Coachella the focus of the event is the artist herself but for Bey the focus of the show is the whole work, not Beyoncé itself. Imagine her getting involved with a job like that and in the end showing more of her face than the fruit of all that work

they were but in the netflix film homecoming she switched between the weekends she performed because she performed two weekends that’s why they switch up but they were the same at the beginning .
As a video editor the Homecoming edit is far superior and definitely was the better weekend to go with. As a Beyoncé fan, these are both perfection and there really is no wrong version.
