Excellent interview, Steve. As you know, Bobby guided, tutored, mentored me many times over 6 years while he was still in California. I'm using his knowledge today fishing weekly and also passing some of it along to the next generation of bass fishermen as well. I am extremely fortunate to have some of his influence and knowledge to fish on the Delta where he did most of his fishing. When Bobby talks about bass fishing, you gotta listen.
Sounds like you have been putting that knowledge to good use. I know that you already know how lucky you are to have fished with Bobby.

When I think of chasing Delta stripers on big top water baits, only one name comes to mind, the one who started it all, the legendary Bobby Barrack.

Or Steve Sap that didn’t last long. Bobby was the king in the Delta with one Real exception. Bass master winner 3 years in a row. Robert Lee was like the Black Ghost In Detroit. If he was a car lol. Bobby is just a class act. Hands down
I agree with you that Robert was very good and never got the respect. His tournament record was hard to argue with. I don't know Robert but I hear he is a great guy.

lol I sat and talked with him a few years ago at the fishing show in Long Beach. Bobby was pretty intense and a wealth of knowledge. His pointers have helped me be more successful on the water and I have to say thank you Bobby!
