Zhou Shen still retains his teenage voice even after his voice change failed. He uses changes in mouth shape and position to make his voice changeable. He sang for the Chinese version of Disney's 100 Years of Animation last year: I Am a Star and completed more than 20 singing voices and harmonies by himself. The English version was completed by twenty-eight people. He's really amazing. He also covered Sia's "Unstoppable" in New Year's Eve and it's excellent.
I am deeply affected by Zhou Shen's
performance. He has one of the most beautiful voices on the planet, soft, warm and soothing, full of emotions. He is Zhou Shen. He is my one and only.

To get an idea of his versatility, you should react to different type of performances (music genres) like:

There is a video that only shows this song, but it doesn't have English subs. The link above has English CCs.
2) "Dalabengba": czcams.com/video/eK-6lmgjR5A/video.html The song with English subs starts at 52:55. This song is special for several reasons:
- Zhou Shen sings each character with a different voice. There is a little girl, the hero, the king, the narrator and the dragon (not counting the baby and the princess at the very end of the song).
- The characters have ridiculously long names. E.g. the young hero is called „Dalabengba Bandebeidi Buduobiluweng“. All the names are basically nonsensical Chinese tongue twisters. This song was originally written for and sang by Vocaloid (a singing voice synthesizer software product). The song was never meant to be sung by a human. To remember and sing these long names at fast speed (as the song progresses) is a very difficult task.

Thank you for your reaction. I just discovered another calming song from him. He actually sang it 2 years ago for a cosmetic advertisement in multiple languages. I recommend it if you like the soft, flowy, calming type of songs. It's called Florasis.
On another note, if you have only listened to 2 of his songs you have not yet discovered why everyone claims him to be a treasure. There certainly won't be a shortage of surprises waiting for you. Enjoy your journey to discovering Zhou Shen. I only recently found out about him, less than a year, and my only regret is that I didn't discover him sooner. Okay, second regret, is I don't know the language but he has inspired me to start learning Mandarin.

Many on New Years Eve were amazing. I think he had 14 that night! As many have suggested, Unstoppable is very good... not sung high like this, but with strength and determination. The Mongolian one: ZHOU SHEN+ANDA UNION 周深+安达组合《乌兰巴托的夜》The Night in Ulaanbaatar-北京跨年晚会 is amazing and shows his very high voice.
Other great ones: Delabengba, Ring the Doorbell and Listen to Yourself, The Song of Heaven Island, Upwards to the Moon with Sa Ding Ding, The Wandering Earth2 Theme song, Think of Me, Memory, Monsters.... I think he has over 200 OST out, and then are all the songs he has sung with others. So good.

This performance was part of the Year's Eve 2024 festival in Beijing. The video doesn't have English subs, but you can look up the lyrcis when you search for "Night Of Ulanbaatar". There is a video with subs, but the performance is mixed with still photos of Zhou Shen and I prefer to see the original.

The original audio was released as early as 2019 called "The History" by Jannik, the lyrics were written later by Tang Simiao and Zou Nianci, and performed by Zhou Shen, the song released on 31.12.2023 and performed live on New Year's Eve at the same day.

Although these songs are unfinished, which is truly regrettable... In a singing show (Super Vocal Season 1), Charlie Zhou-Shen intended to perform the song 'Lascia ch’io pianga.' However, he couldn't realize it on stage due to copyright issues. The production unit has edited out this scene, and during the screening section, only 'Caro mio ben' can be found.
