Whelen WPS-4004 (404R) All Tones Maintenance Test 6/17/24

    Here's a quick all tones maintenance test of my Whelen WPS-4004 (404R). I haven't had the time to get out an do one in awhile, so it was good to get it completed. Privately owned and operated on my family property.
    The reason the rotator continues to turn after the siren tone has stopped is that the amps have not shut off yet, and the oscillator board is hooked to the amp power. Enjoy!

    Awesome! Is it just me or is there is delay with the sound on the first signal?
    Also I still remember this channel when it was called "Nick Metts" with those good ol St. Charls County vids from like 7 years ago...

      It has a slight delay. The decoder has to receive the transmission from the radio.
