I was born and raised there. Family is from Dunlap originally but later lived on mountain creek road near 4 squares
My mother lives and is from Chattanooga. I lived there for 8 yrs. I lived of Dodds Ave. Not a safe area but I still love it.

interested in weather and natural catastrophy, taxes, living quality, educational system, cost of living etc.
Very awesome. I’m seriously wanting to move to either there or Knoxville and have hard time deciding. I’m into arts, music, breweries but also the outdoors.

Exactly you’d have to live there go to high school there etc it sucks they are closed minded people forget it’s the south and they have southern mentalities so sure if your heteronormative and cisgender and don’t ever step out of line or act different in any way that’s considered odd your good

That's BS. I hate that people spread that mentality. I have lived in Chattanooga for 24 years. Almost everyone I've met is friendly and open to anyone. I certainly don't fit the southern stereotype. When I moved here, I was a little put off by the way every woman I met wanted to hug on our first visit! I thought it was fake. I was wrong. It's real.@Nooneoneoneoeneone

30 years ago it was different but thankfully now the city has got way better and looks 100% then it did years ago.

Pretty much all of downtown at this point. This is also coming from a Acworth transplant from 8 years ago. Do you want them blasting your favorite local spots on CZcams? Favorite bar? Go to Brew and Cue on Rossville Blvd any given night for an interesting local experience 🤣
