I think even then Ellie wanted to be Lilly's friend but Lilly was already thinking about the rivalry and could never be the true friend Ellie wanted. I mean, even in season 8 she wasn't always very nice in the interviews and with Elliana. Now they might be friends, but they aren't super close.

When Lilly did “Wishing Well”, Yolanda praised her precision, and when Ellie did “Aria”, Stacey said that it was amazing, I wish that the moms stayed like that and didn’t always fight with each other
Lilli may look very young but her words (the way she sounds and the words she uses) along with her actions are very mature. Props to her for being so humble after all this drama. The same goes for Ellie she’s been through a whole lot too.

yolanda is batshit crazy. like i have NEVER seen anybody worse than her on this show. she beats out melissa, jill, black patsy, christy from the select team and even leslie. she was willing to sacrifice her child’s sanity and happiness in order to have her dance even when she had no business dancing in certain numbers (the Q for example). she needs help.
IMO, She was the worst mom that has ever came to the show.

Lilliana was one of the only reasons I came back to watch the new season, her maturity and her showcasing her personality was a breath of fresh air and thank god for it. Hope she’s doing well.

The one thing I will say is that from what we saw? The Carrie and Straight Escape were choreographically on an entire different level. Lilliana DID have the advantage since it was higher difficulty and the dancing was much more interesting. However the Carrie? From the clips we saw, nothing about it screamed carrie other than the blood and the knife. There was no unique dancing that I feel like I haven't seen in any other ALDC contemporary solo. I feel like the Carrie thing would have worked better as a duet with someone playing the mother and someone playing as Carrie more than a solo.

i adore lilly, but it has to be said that the only dance where there was definitely a difference between her and ellie was her straight escape solo - all the rest were pretty even and ellie should’ve won more than just aria
Aside from elliana Charlie, she should have won every solo against Lilly, she has the better technique, control posture, flexibity and fluidity, Lilly is a literal spring, it goes to show how rigged these competitions are
