- Level 110 Chaos can be tricky. I recorded this video to show that, with proper peparations, he's not that hard.
You'll see that i messed up a couple of times, especially during second part, so i could have beaten him a lot faster.
I used Gabranth and boosted his attack power but accessories to keep him in EX mode work great too. I didn't use any summon, though it will help a lot if needed. This is just an example of how to do it, any characters will do as long as they're well equipped (weapon/armor/accessories). - Hry

So how long did you train for him? I bet very long if you have 9972 HP... I did beat him with warrior of light without extra training in 2-3 days of trying it was a psychical torture...
He is the coolest and hardest endboss of all time...

DerZeppterdesAldi it took me over 40 tries... he replayed the game several times and increased the level, that's why his health was like that. Tbh, my reflexes were way better than his while playing this game. The health benefits a lot 😂

I only have good meories of this game. This is such a throwback. Good setup for gabranth btw, i liked to play him a lot too:D
@Aceleeno These are multiplier accessories, which, as the name implies, multiply the effect of other accessories when conditions are met.

Thanks. Cloud doesn't rely on Ex mode like Gabranth, so, you can boost his attack (muscle belt, gaia ring, champion belt) but also his defense (defense cuff). Ultima weapon seems to be the best weapon for Cloud, but Ragnarok is great too. Hope this helps.
good this vid has got my hopes up, i'm using gabranth too with simalar equip to you except with highway star and without the boosters hopefully i can beat him

@lohzhen It's EXP to EX, if you do a very powerful hp attack, you take back a lot of EX force. For Maximillian and Chaos blade i don't remember exactly, i think a lot of items needed come from colosseum.

@lohzhen It's an extra ability you get at level 100, as you won't need exp anymore. You get 3 abilities actually : EXP to HP, EXP to brave and EXP to EX, the latter is the one i used in the vid.
I remember, it was so long ago, but I beat inward chaos with Gabranth. The hard part wasn't building up bravery but landing the HP hit. Back then I didn't realize the midair version of Innocence is actually good.

@Mast3rCid u mean ex to ex force if like this i use it on my squall and i hit chaos and i only gain abit of ex gauge and this story is freaking hard and one question how do u get the maximillian and chaos blade?
@lohzhen You have to buy the abilities to equip it in PP shop first (you need various lores), then equip the abilities (in extra abilities) and finally equip the genji set.

@tobuscus69 This is the last fight of Inward chaos but there are many fights before it, so i just saved my EX for this fight. After that, i have EXP to EX ability on, which lets me refill completely my EX gauge every time i hit Chaos with an HP attack, as you can easily see in the vid.
You can either fight level 100 cpu opponents in quick battle and expect them to drop their equips (be sure to buy the drop chance in PP shop and equip luck+ accessories) or fight in lunar whale colosseum to gather trade items.

@lohzhen You need to equip the whole genji set : shield, helm and armor.
How do you get genji armor in the pp catalog to buy
what does that multiplier thing do?? because I have trouble with chaos and if I break him, then I'll get little bravery back

Since you play with Sephiroth, this setup should work nicely. He doesn't rely on EX mode at all though, so you can replace the EX booster accessory i have with anything you want. Don't forget summons too, they can help a lot. Good luck !

Thanks. Inward Chaos is the last story mode in Dissidia. For best weapons and armors, it's the Lunar Whale colosseum. You can also fight level 100 chars in quick battle and expect them to drop weapon/armor.
Mast3rCid yeah I never actually got to inward chaos in the original game and that's my one regret, but I did beat feral chaos in Dissidia 012 and that fight is a shocker :p
Is dissidia a series of a games like soul calibur or is it just for final fantasy?
Haha I had so much problem to deal with his Demon Dance back then as a kid, always gave me unbelievable stress when that name plopped up on the top of the screen.

Damn, I should use Gabranth. Currently I'm using a lvl 100 cloud and all his attacks are centered on one area as opposed to Gabranth. I see he can hit wide areas at once.

I beaten level 110 chaos with Cloud of Darkness.
Very addictive game. First time I beat Final Chaos I used Firion. Figured since he gets HP back with HP EX attacks it was the safest bet. Never realized Gabranth could be so effective, even though I knew he's powerful. Played through again recently, been thinking about utilizing Iai Strike since I never used it before. Haven't decided which character to use yet but I'm leaning towards Cloud of Darkness this time. Final Chaos can be a real pain, even if you know how his attacks work.
I managed to used Firion as my main character before accidentaly deleting my save at the last level, Firion is indeed very good but sucks against Chaos even if he can heal the amount of damage he did (which is totally insane in fight), he don't have enough attacks is only attacks which are very usefull are 2 ground O (the knives and the axe finishing which the Square) and 4 Square (the two arrows air and ground plus the shield and master of weapons). This character can also be counterattack so easily because he doesn't move when doing an attack which can be easily countered. Gabranth is very effective because in Ex mode you almost do only crit so in became way more easier to beat him. But I doing the same thing as you I am mastering another one because FIrion may be the best he is not very efficient. ( I am french that is because I am very vague when I spoke of the attacks I don't know their names in the english version)
I agree, Firion's moves typically leave him open if they don't connect with the enemy. In other matches if I can't connect with an HP attack I will throw out a fire spell and a lot of times they will guard causing it to reflect back to me. It's a more effective way to set up his shield reflect and get a free HP attack but it's too tactically slow to work against Chaos. What really drives me nuts about Choas are his summon skills. They are random effects but it's not uncommon for him to get the one that freezes his brave allowing him to spam HP attacks and quick kill me. In the end, Gabranth truly is the most effective way to handle him.
Inward is even more memorable because he lasts longer

@Xenn000 Sephiroth can hit really hard with a good setup. Are you level 100, do you have atk boost accessories and his best weapon ?
Check my setup, you can use pretty much the same for Sephiroth.
I cheesed him with a lot of breakable accessories and Onion Knight. God knows I took hours to kill him off because I ran out of patience.
@tobuscus69 Also if you kill him in EX mode nearly full then you keep that EX for the next match. Which is VERY helpful. you wanna be in EX mode at nearly all times during this fight. Or save it so you can block his impossible moves :P

@Wilkonya i beat shade impulse with cecil, paladin force or whatever saved me, im tryin to kill chaos in inward chaos with gabranth though to see how that works

Yeah, i just like darker suits. I never changed anyone outfits but his and Terra because her hair was always green until the PSX remake and i like all the original.
I can't pass Inward chaos because I don't have the correct armor, and I don't know how to created it.. :/
i went terra main with nothing no skills on exept that dash and only firaga ultima and tornado it took too long but oh ho ho how much i loved just trapping him on the ceiling without any hope of getting out
Gabranth's a great character. Though, i'm still disappointed that they didnt have Vaan or Basch from XII for the hero. Oh well. Great job though, and your right, he's not that hard. I prefer onion knight for this though, cause his speed and his Guiding Swipe just tools, if you can block the attack.

Anyone else notice that Chaos's HP was 0 when Gabranth went on to his EX Burst? This is pretty much Gabranth giving the lord of Hell a nice, big "F*** you".
if u ddnt kno, to easily hit him with innocence use aero, he'll try to dodge it, then use innocence it works try it! but nice anyway

I'm stuck on this very battle with Squall. I managed to beat everyone pretty much easily(except Jecht of course). I think it's pretty unfair they boosted the CPU's level beyond 100. You just feel more and more ridiculous with each defeat.
