White Grub (खुम्रे कीरा) Management

White grub (PhyllophagaSpp.) falls under Scarabaeidae family of Coleopetra order. It is one of the most important economic pest of maize crop. The larval stage (white with a C-shaped body) heavily damages maize crop in the field. Metarhiziumanisopliae (green muscardine fungus) can be used as a biological insecticidefor its management. Mass multiplication of Metarhiziumfungus can be done at laboratory under control condition.
