It was a brilliant night with a great crowd up for the party. Thanks for posting. It's a shame they didn't hire any people to work the spotlights on the dancers because from upstairs I could hardly see them so were a bit pointless. Set List... Impossible This Time, This Place... Seen this show live at Brussels last Monday (20/02). Loved it, but I did miss a live vocalist now and then. Also, the guys were looking great in the costumes while the dancers' outfits was unimaginative, I found. They should have talked to Pet Shop Boys to get that point straight ;-)
Yeah, the costumes, very Pet Shop Boys vs some kind of druid look! Dancers, I agree. Not so much, - or not just - the outfits, but the choreography. At times, it felt they had been ushered on to just improvise something...kind of like a high school class where the teacher says, 'I want you to imagine you are....hope" (or 'despair' or something). Seemed a little undercooked anyhow, maybe lack of lighting or costumes? Anyway, I'm glad they were there to add something extra and I definitely couldn't do what they were doing!!!
I loved the gig, and I don't expect the October one to be very different. A friend of mine was very disappointed that there were no guest singers and that in their words 'it was just like being at a rave'. Yes, would have been great to see the likes of Susanne Sundfør or Alison Goldfrapp come on stage, but clearly, that was not on the agenda! I didn't mind too much - but because I spent my time filming this, I largely missed out on being able to let loose and dance! Maybe I'll leave the camera behind next time and just hit the dancefloor!
Attended Berlin a few days later. It was the same. Dancers were absolutely unnecessary. Royksopp kicked ass of course especially w their last like an old dog heavy techno mix
How is the quality so good? 😅 I'm gonna go to their upcoming show, I was 11 when I bought their first album, I'm 33 in a couple weeks and still haven't seen them live!
Дождевики уже не те...Тупо вышли фанерные синглы прокрутили,ничего даже не играли,вокала не было,танцоры вообще там не в тему,короче уровень дискотеки в пионерлагере...
согласен!, я их слушаю с 1999 года ,но то что они с 2016 года честно говоря угасли в творчестве (я бы даже сказал раньше наверное с 2012) это факт ..Думаю им надо идти на заслуженный почетный отдых и кого нибудь продюсировать,последние два альбома полная ерунда ...А за солистку это вы о ком? Робин давно уже у них не поет,Сусанне Суннфер тоже ...
@@Frank-gv2ch Да хотя-бы одна из солисток, смотрел их старый концерт в москве мне понравилось. Там поет одна из солистка оч красиво. Далее..... Стоят два диджея., переигрывают старье, накладывая кики. клэпы. хэты. Итп . Неужели нет больше музыки в душе? И муза сказала им😉 давай дасваданья😴..
