I was orphaned at the age of 8. I went from dropping out of high school due to lack of fee, to working in clubs and casinos. Then from prostitution to sleeping with a married indian man constantly just to keep my job as a sales assistant in his company (Don't judge me) long story short, i am now in the UK. I moved here as a student, did my Bachelor's in nursing without KCSE and now i am a Registered Nurse working on my masters to be a Certified Registered Nurse Anaesthetic.

It's sad how our schools are not equipped to handle issues. How can the school know something is up and someone has attempted suicide and you send them home? So sad. And we pay fees and taxes to equip them then this is what they do? We need to do more as a country and as people. I am taking initiative and raising awarness to the signs and negative effects of mental health issues. Please join me. We can do something great together.

Problem is there are no psychologists in schools and teachers are not really equipped to understand the psychological part of human nature. I think African schools need to atleast employ one or two psychologists in a school. This lady would have been helped long time ago before she even went to abusive men looking for love. This case might not be considered in court because there is no real evidence. If this lady could have reported immediately then that would be a different story. This case might not be considered in court because there is no real evidence. If this lady could have reported immediately then that would be a different story. It is unfortunate that she had to go through this. We need to teach our girls to be outspoken and also strive to change the system which is full of toxic masculinity.
