Wow- that was my favourite live modelling video so far!
I'm sorry the beginning has gone AWOL.
I was looking forward to seeing how you dealt with the egg and dart moulding. I did an Ionic column in 2014 that's on the 3D warehouse and remember a very steep learning curve with those details!
Aaron and Jody, these videos are really appreciated during these strange times. Thanks so much for hosting and posting them!

Fantastic! Great job on building all the components of each of these type columns so accurately. :)

I am super sorry I missed this live. I have attempted fluting until I was pulling out what little hair I have left. I am definitely going to try your methods. THANKS!

🤫 The Greek entasis (curvature) starts at the base off the column. The Roman entasis starts at 1/3 off the column. The height of the column includes basement and capital.😱

Thank you for this. I did really enjoy it - unfortunately I could only access the last 1h 59 mins, but I think it was plenty to learn. Cheers,
    Kinga

Hopefully it is working, now... CZcams has been taking longer than usual to process these live videos. I am not sure why, though. Keep checking back if the beginning is still not there.

Following along with the modelling, literally waiting for the same amount of time as Aaron during the 3rd column's cutting step. I'm thinking of going for a walk...

Thanks for a great tutorial. Is there a list of the extensions you use available anywhere?

Howdy Aaron, The first part of the video seems to be missing. I watched the whole thing earlier so I know it is there somewhere. Think it is my computer? Does not work on my Roku - CZcams either. Great video! Many thanks!

Sorry... It looks like that is due to the speed that CZcams is processing these videos. Hopefully it will be processed 100% soon!

There may be an issue with CZcams. You can always log in at noon on Friday and catch our streams. We will be here!

Spacemouse "Enterprise" by 3DConnexion. About $400 on Amazon. Otherwise, you'd need Euros.

your great, but im 10 minutes into this and your still chatting, its not a talk show, just get into it! thanks for what you do, once you start doing it!

Thanks for the view! We tend to have people still logging in during the first 10 minutes of the live stream, so we try not to put too much important stuff in during that portion. If you like, you can always scrub ahead until you see things show up in the SketchUp window!
