This video came at the perfect time. I have been thinking about how I want to clean them. Right now I just wipe them down after the rides.

Is it okay not to clean them every time if you practice on a riding simulator instead of a real horse in a clean house? And is it okay to just scrub them down with a damp cloth or do I have to buy a special cleaner?

If it is caked on and dry try to remove most of it with you fingers. Then wipe with a damp sponge.
