DJ Valentine (no relation) I got into the Schmoedown a little after the 'Bespin' incident and saw what a figure of ridicule he was becoming. To see his journey from that to become champion is worth of a Schmoedown special documentary. it's the stuff of legends.

Darth Vanquish I love this victory, and you're right, aside from Harloff, Rocha is the one who raised the Schmoedown to a different level- love him or hate him (and I love him), he really has been one of THE key figures to broaden the audience for the league.

Agreed him and Kristian really has done there part to make this league into what it is today. That emotional moment was genuine. The only thing that was missing was Scott Mantz at that moment. I'm surprised he didn't come down and hug John.
Rocha's reaction to winning is just the best. Dan was a great champ and he's still my favorite movie fighter, but Rocha wanted this so badly and deserved it. He's a great example of achieving something that you put your mind to. I hope he holds that belt for a long time.

this season of schmoedown has been filled with shocks. First JTE stunning victory, then Macuga takes on "Finstock" in a do or die match and somehow wins. THEN this happens. What the he'll, my jaws droped. Harloff, Ellis and collider, this League is absolutely amazing.

1. Macuga will team with Murrell to take on the Lions den for the tag team belts and will win
2. Rocha will be a short term champ I know it was very touching he won but this connects to my next point
3. Clarke will face Reilly where Reilly wins and splits from wolves of steel turning heel and defeating Rocha to get his belt back
4. Harloff will complete his revenge tour and will end the year with a title shot against Reilly
5. One of the factions will dissolve and cease to exist by 2018
these are just predictions but since the schmoedown follows the WWE format there will be storylines through the season and these seem to be possible IMO

Well just think what he had to come back from. Bespian was the biggest joke of the year on here and people kept joking and teasing him about it. He has been on stoppable since.
Seeing him get emotional nearly did the same to me. You could instantly tell how much this meant to him. I'm a proud member of #outlawnation and Murrell was the epitome of a class act tonight. I'm really glad he broke away from the Loser's Den and will take a crack at those Team Titles down the road!

Dan Murrell is the GOAT, but I'm so happy for Rocha. Nobody has played this game as hard as he has. Whether he's playing up the Outlaw persona or just being himself, his whole heart is always in it. He earned the victory 100%.
Thank you Dan for being a great classy champion. I know you will be back for that belt soon and will probably win it back. Thank you John Rocha for being that heel of the league and making everyone else in the league step up their game. You and of course Kristian McMahon have really made this more than just Trivia but also making it fun entertainment.

I'm a huge Schmoedown fan, and want to give congratulations to everyone for the great show. I've been following for a while and think the combination of WWE-style theatricality and character drama mixed with trivia competition is inspired. My comment is long, but you can read whatever portion of it is commensurate with your interest in anonymous feedback:
Love the addition of an undercard match before the title fight. It gives more competitors the chance to build star power and the program feels like more of an "event" when there's an opener. The match itself was a fun one that gives bona fides to the looming juggernaut of the league: The Godfather.
McWeeny looks like a clear championship contender, and the obvious front-runner following JTE's upset over Bibbiani. Love "The Godfather" nickname, and hope he eventually adopts some fitting showmanship. Needs another win before a title shot, and I'd love to see a Sneider match.
"The Killer" impressed me with a fun entrance and looks like a strong competitor over his first two matches. Seems just under the Murrell-McWeeny-Rocha tier, so I'd like to see him build rivalries with the likes of Reilly, Wolfe, JTE or Bibbiani if he can pump up his character work/promos.
Dan Murrell has been a tremendous champion and deserved his place at the top. His calm demeanor during matches is quietly intimidating, and befitting a top contender. His "clean it for me" jab was great! Want to see Dan continue being cold, calculated and confident. Since he's out of the Lion's Den I'd even like to see him lead his own heel faction, the New Murrell Order, if you're not too concerned about being overcrowded with heel factions.
Thrilled for Rocha and #Outlawnation! Close as can be, but deserved his win and has been THE most compelling storyline in the league (rivaled only by JTE/Patriots fall and rise) going back to the legendary Bespin match. Rocha thus far has been the gold standard for drama, character, and passion in the Schmoedown. Other competitors in the league should be aspiring to match (and surpass) Rocha's character work in order to bring this show to the next level. He has elevated the show and I'm genuinely glad to see him rewarded with the long-sought belt.
Big fan of Emma Fyffe's work in the post-match interviews. She's comes across very natural and endearing, and looks like she's got a genuine love for the game. I think she'd be fantastic as one of the hosts asking questions and on commentary!
This may have been Ellis' best performance at commentary yet. Lots of funny quips, and I like the character.
One criticism for Kristian, not really specific to this match, is that at times it seems like the pressure he feels becomes visible on camera. It's understandable given that the Schmoedown is his baby and he wants everything to be great, but the moments when Mr. Harloff becomes palpably angry in an unscripted way are uncomfortable to watch and can make the show feel less polished. I'm hoping his time away from the SK show will help him relieve some stress... The Schmoedown is already phenomenal, so I'd like to see Kristian a bit more relaxed and less high strung when on commentary.
Additional comments unrelated to this match:
If there's one thing I want from this show, it's more characters. Not necessarily just more competitors, but more players who can bring showmanship and drama to the proceedings a la The Outlaw. I love all of the wrestling-inspired elements, from the entrances to the backstage segments to the promos and I think that if more of the competitors lean in to those portions of the show, it will help further elevate and distinguish the Schmoedown from other internet entertainment.
I like the revamped first round where competitors get the same question. More fair, and I also feel it flows smoother than the previous iteration.
Love seeing more matches with stipulations and real stakes, such as the "loser breaks up" Wangers match or the "banned for a year" Macuga vs. Finstock match. Would like to see more of this with competitors playing for tournament spots in the free-for-all or Ultimate Schmoedown, or maybe challenging each other for the right to play with certain tag partners.
While the stipulation match was yet another highlight in this (still early) banner year for the Schmoedown, I'm compelled to remind the producers that Finstock=ratings, and I will be sad to see him go. The bizarre, mumbly, inscrutable bearded one is unlike any other character on the show, and his personality will be missed. A retirement match was a great idea, but I think Finstock should have been left off the chopping block at a time when the Lion's Den was and is such a pivotal force in the league.
Love Macuga, and want to see him continue his iron man streak of competing in matches, but the fantasy update segments are very thin. It feels like the producers (understandably) want to be complimentary of everyone to stay in the good graces of the competitors on their show, but unfortunately this hamstrings the fantasy segment... You can't tell us everyone needs to be traded for but nobody should be traded away. I think the segment might be better served by focusing on stats such as percentage of available points scored, or yearly/monthly point totals to keep the commentary more objective and allow for criticism in addition to praise.
I'm sure you hear it often, but more women competing would be great. Clarke is quite charming and I'm a big fan of team Six Degrees, who deserve a shout out for their strong entrance game. Generally speaking the show could use more feminine energy to cancel out the sausage party vibes (ha). I'll also repeat an earlier point and say that getting Emma on commentary sometimes would help with this as well!
Keep it coming guys! Can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings.

I can't get over how good this match is every time I watch it. One cool thing I noticed is how both Murrell and Rocha were gracious and acknowledged each others good performance throughout the match. Class along with excitement and fun!

Rocha got knocked down, got beat up verbally, ridiculed by so many for "Bespin", and got right back up and fought for the #1 contenders match and lost to Ellis. He got back up and fought all the way to the Championship match, and won it. Microcosm of life my friends. Never give up.

I've seen this match more than any other Schmoedown match. This is so incredible from beginning to end. Seeing Rocha claw his way to the top against Dan Murrel who is without the doubt the very best, still remains for me the best moment to what I still consider the best Schmoedown match of all time.
Rocha's reaction was so unlike his "outlaw" persona. It was real, genuine emotion and excitement like a kid on Christmas. Brilliant!

As a member of the #outlawnation I LOVED seeing Rocha win, but the best part of that match was Murrell leaving the Lions Den. It wasn't a good fit, he's way to good a player and person to be with those miscreants.

This was so worth the wait, all the build up, all the smack talk both backed it up. It's easy to just skip that first match, but don't Drew had an amazing performance, and don't count out Mike seems like a guy that will brush himself off and come back strong. Can't say enough good things about #SchmoedownChampionshipWeek Keep up the comments and the likes to keep matches like this happening.

Yes Rocha!! YES!!!!! The belt is coming home. After seeing how much this meant to Rocha on Schmoes know I have never wanted to see someone win more on the Schmoedown. And I never thought I would care this much who won. GREAT MATCH.
With all the hype around the title match (and deservedly so!), it needs to be said the McWeeny is a low-key mega competitor in the schmoedown. I wouldn't be surprised to see him fighting for the belt soon.
Both of these champions are fun to watch. They have fun smack-talk but clearly don't mean anything behind it. Bravo to all!

Im from Lithuania, Shmoedown videos usually are uploaded right around the midnight. so it has been my tradition - every friday no matter what i do - clubs, pubs, bars and etc. when im back home - its all about Shmoedown!
